Hi, I'm new to this forum, and i wanted a tip or two, im building my first guitar,and building the neck out of walnut is this good or bad for the sound or anything? also i build the body out of laminated poplar in a gibson les paul style, it looks pretty sharp and i got the archtop done by hand a few days ago i'll show some of the pics on here when i get some more printer ink. but yeah after i finish the neck were going to bolt it on i think and im going to put EMG 83 and 85's in i think. but yeah thanks.
