Hello i am currently working on getting some parts for a kit guitar and i play many styles of music (punk, metal, and even worship stuff for my church) so i was looking at carvin pickups for it and i noticed they have an active/passive system but it says you can like move the tone knobs seperatly and i dont think it will fit in the saga ht-10 kit do any other companys make an active passive thing like that or will the carvin model fit in my guitar?

hey guys i have another question for you now i think i am going ot put carvin pickups in the guitar and i know they have an active passive kit that you can use with there picups bu it also says you cant move the tone and volume knobs around do you know any other manufatures that make something like this

where could i get one of those necks?

what i want my guitar to look like (but with dye) thats kind of what i am going for but with dye instead of paint and i havnt decided if i should keep the back red or do it black any suggestion (sorry about the cheap graffics but i am lazy so i just did it in paint)

well before i keep going i looked at that technique and i am kind of confused but cut me some slack i am only 16 but i think that i will wait on the led thing but as for the finish couldnt i dye it red then tape off where i want the stripes and then dye it black? maybe it cant be done but im just a noob

Hello guys, i am new to this forum as a member but i have been looking here for probebly 2 months. Now last night i was browsing around here and finaly got inspired to make a guitar (well kind of) i figure i wont go to crazy into this so i will get a kit for my first build. i am currently looking at the saga HT 10 kit. i plan on ordering it proebely right after christmas but i want to figure out all that i want to do with it. i plan on getting it and doing a red base stain on it and then some somewhat EVH style black stained stripes on it. I am going to coil tap the pickups and put a kill swich on it. now come the questions i saw the tutorial for led lights in the forums and got inspired now will i be able to do it with the neck that come with the kit IE somehow take off the fret board with out hurting it or can i even take the fret board off and ruin it but have the neck be ok and put on a new fret board to put the LEDs in? so please answer these questions for me so i can keep thinking about what i am going to do to the guitar OH ya i almost ofrgot is it also possible to do the led lights in say the top 12 frets and then scallop 13-22?
