Its House of Kolor "Orion Silver"

Thanks. I'm glad people seem to like it. The flakes are House of Kolor coarse rainbow flake. After the base color was sprayed, I added the flakes to the clear and sprayed three coats. After that I applied three coats of regular clear on top of the flaked clear and that was it. Actually, the pictues dont do it justice as the body is really shimmery! I will try to take some pictures out in the sunlight to really show it off.

OK all, I sprayed the finish on my current JPM project today. It came out really well. I just need to let it fully cure and thend sand, buff, and assemble. Here are some current pics. Thanks for getting the pics to work! I will be undertaking a few JPM projects this summer(hopefully) I plan on doing three, with one of them being a Picasso graphic. But instead of using stickers, i will be using paint for the graphic. The first finish will be the sick sparkle you see above. Please feel free to ask any questions. Hi all. I am currently in the middle of building and painting my own "custom Ibanez" JPM. I will be including pictures of the build and paint as it progresses. Please ad your feedback, pro and con, as I would be interested in reading it. Im sure some of you will like the build and color choice and some will not. Hi all. New to the board and I have to say you guys are great and incredibly helpful. I have learned so much already. Anyway, here is my question. I did some searches , but I could not find the exact answer I needed. What I would like to know is in reference to filling the grain on a body prior to painting. I understand you need to do this, and since I work in the automotive industry I am familiar with body fillers, so I have decided to go this route. LGM recommends using a product called "Thin Ice". Am I correct to assume that this works for grain filling? 1) Apply very thin then sand down? 2) Is Thin Ice a "glazing putty"? 3) Will this work to properly fill the grain prior to priming? <---most important. 4) If so, where can I buy Thin Ice? 5) Thank you Frank
