Reshaping around a defect can sometimes end up being really ace. Sometimes not.

Since you've had two seperate tear outs, I'd step back and check your bits and your method. The last thing you want is another tear out.

You could reshape it to be a suhr style headstock:

One of mine is a reverse headstock. It has a locking nut so I can't say about tension, but I find that tuning up (initially) is a lot more comfortable in regards to ergonomics. It also looks a lot less awkward and obvious, so when you tune up on stage you look that bit cooler

Might want to scallop the board and use the tallest frets you can find...

Tough one this month. Like Wes, I'd probably be inclined to play RAD's myself. Although push/pull selectors drive me up the wall (Are you listening, Caparison? ) I'm a big fan of yours, RAD, but the colour scheme on this one doesn't do it for me like your others.

My vote is sitting on the fence between hooglebug and Hitone. Both really nicely made and really unique fiddles. But I think Hitones pin striping has won me over.

And the fact that it was built for charity, top stuff bud. I don't think it will have any trouble standing out from the other artwork

Yes, My vote ended up going to Metalhead. It's got a really cool Caparison Horus vibe with a different, but still really sweet headstock.

Like I said though, mucho entertainment for us metal heads this month.

I know for him it's just a spot on the wall but he is providing you with a way to sell your guitar that's not out of your back yard, which can look dodgey.

Nice man, played one at a guitar show once and I gotta say they're pretty solid fiddles.

They don't sond half bad either, definately better than the old pod 2.0/regular guitar set up I used to to play through.
