I'm a big fan of the gold one, the acrylic one seems like a cool idea but i don't know if the design would stand out enough.
-
N!
Or one of those ones with just the painted pickguards. Lots of tasty options there; you can't go wrong.

Ummmmmmm.....
Well it's got character, that's for sure

My vote went to the INVADER. I really like that the whole space invaders thing wasn't pompous and in your face; the charm is in the subtly.
A very, VERY cool piece of kit it is.
My vote almost went to the Texas tele, the finishing looks stunning as does the craftsmanship, I'm NOT a tele guy, but I'd play yours.

Yeah I find the Jacksons with massively scooped out heels really uncomfortable. There is nothing for my hand to rest against when I have to rotate my wrist to hit the high frets, which tires my hand out really fast.
It's just like how thin necks don't nessecarily play better than fat necks, it's all about fitting an individual hand and playing style.

I love a chunk volute

Nice work mate, sounds like things are going well for you.
I'd love to go to Musikmesse, but I live on the other side of the world
Take lots of pics for those of us who can't make it.

Metalocalypse FTW!
How are the blackouts? If I may ask.
-
Nice work!
That picture is going to give me nightmares though.

I have a Duncan Custom5 and I love it. It'll do Megadeth really well but won't do Metallica or Slayer type sounds. Also it's great for soloist rock ala Paul Girlbert and Satch.
I like the body/headstock combination you've picked, it works well and it makes your guitar truley one of a kind.

Cheers, we Aussies are metric for the record.
Nice looking pickup you've got there, should fit quite well with the rest of the guitar.
-
How big is the can you are using?
-
Now I want to make my own pickups...
-
I like the strat a lot. Is the body finished?
And a big yes on the birds-eye and ebony neck.
-
Never heard of hornbeam before but it looks fantastic. The brown streaks look like liquid chocolate.

What's this 2K finish you're talking about and can it be found in the US that you know of? Looks really nice and you say that a can will do a body. I would like to look into that for future builds.
You're project looks really great btw. Keep up the good work Andy.

I've found them here, too bad I'm in Aus

Mmmmmmmmm... delightfully shiny.

The bubinga top looks great, you sure can pick a pretty piece of wood, Drak.

This joint has MOP aswell as abalone and gold MOP. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=120425556693
I have no idea about quality though, I just stumbled upon it during the course of my browsing one day.

That's a handsome quilt...
I like the inlays too.

3. I also would like some opinions on the Earvana Compensated Nuts and Sperzel locking tuners, anyone who use these that like them/don't like them? If not, any recommendations?
The gotoh locking tuners I have on my ESP stay in tune a lot better than the sperzels.
They lock from the top of the tuner; they don't have a locking wheel on the back.

Looks nice, what Ibanez tremelo are you going to use? I ask because I've never seen a route like that before.

Thanks for that ihockey...
