  1. I have a problem using Cubase and AmpliTube plug-in: I don't know how to make it work. I've instaled AmpliTube LIVE also, and it works perfectly. I tried to uninstall LIVE before plug-in installation, but it is the same as before. The plug-in works inside Cubase (no sound coming out - that's my problem!). When I start

Cubase and load plug-in (maybe I'm doing something wrong in this stage - I dunno - maybe something in the *prefferences*...) Can somebody who uses Cubase help to make it work, since I don't have any expirience in Cubase SX? The guitar is plugged in LINE-IN on my SoundBlaster Audigy2 card and it works

perfectly with AmpliTube LIVE. Any help info is welcome!

    THANX IN ADVANCE

  2. Does anybody know anything 'bout this guitar? I saw it on some poor video capture on the net (SOOOOO lousy quality). It has beautiful blueburst (if I saw correctly - a sparkly blueburst - I dunno, the video was so awfully captured...). Does anybody who bought 7 string from Ibanez a few years ago has this video? Any info is welcome.

  3. It depends which woods are used for the guitar... But, for all maple or maple topped mahogany body, I like EMGs (85-SA-SA). Another nice combo for more power is 81-S-89 (I had that on Jackson AT-X a couple of years ago - original p-ups were Jackson-brand, but I've replaced them).

  4. Nuno N4 Replica Finished

I think it's more of N2 than N4. Looks OK... Lower horn is kinda off, but... Nice lookin' axe. I really love N4s and I saw on the yahoo groups that some guy made a real N4 replica with Steven's Extended Cutaway. I'll dig out the link and post it later. Very nice, Lesmortdansant.

  5. I think that Slash summed it up pretty nicely:

I have three old Strats and I used a '65 for the solo

[sucker Train Blues]. Although I think they're the best

sounding guitars, Strats are so inconsistent and I don't

have the patience to mess with them. You just get used to

playing on different necks - when you change guitar, you

have to adapt. For the most part, Les Pauls are pretty easy

to use. And although a Strat is real light, just can't bang

on it the way I do with a Les Paul. Strats a too ****in'

sensitive. And when they sound bad, they sound horrible.

That's why I tend to stick to playing Les Pauls.

I cannot choose between the two. I would preffer a Suhr fully loaded guitar that has the woods of a Les Paul and the design of a strat. My 2 cents.

  6. This month's compettion is excellent. The bass is .... great. The JS6 looks really powerful. But, the FatBoy... like somebody said, it is the details of the guitar itself that reserved my vote. Simply BEAUTIFUL. I'm not a fan of the whole rockabilly thing going on, but this guitar astonishes me. I think that this is the most proffesionaly executed guitar that I have seen on this forum (exeptions are DaveQ, Myka, LGM and a couple of other members - I can't recollect usernames now, sorry. They did pretty awsome guitars in the previous competitions.).

Anyway, this is it. My vote goes to Hitone's FatBoy.

  7. I need descent guitar FX processor software for my notebook (I don't mean VST plug-ins, although they're quite handy, I might add). Does anybody know any good and had some expirience with this type of software?

    Thanx.
