Maybe I'm kinda late, but... I was at the Machine Head gig the day after the shooting happened (Dec 9th). Robb Flyn came on stage holding Dimebag's picture (the one with the warhead logo cap). He said a couple of thing about Dimebag, asked for one minute silence and played a ballad on ACOUSTIC guitar!!! That was awsome! I've never seen Robb Flyn even close to an acoustic... Anyway, the great man and player is gone. Sad.

I've read somwhere that Bloodwood is highly toxic and that some wood suppliers won't cut ir nor sand it. I dunno... Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that is was a link in the suppliers section or something like that.

Letely I became quite obsessed with this guitar. In fact, I did a lot of research on the net about this guitar (I posted a topic about N4 couple of moths ago, if anyone remembers). So, I couldn't resist of not having the template (at least) made based on N4. It needs the rear contouring lines, but this is quite finished. The neck joint is really something. It would be really hard to do it by hand, but I think that I'll do it using CNC router that I have access to. Tell me wha' U think.

BTW, the link doesn't work (at least on my computer). Can U post some more pics in the thread?

This is great! I can't express how cool this guitar appears to me. I really love maple, especially quilted one. Like always, you've delivered again, man! Congrats!!!

I've just got back from a LONG holiday and read this topic (I stopped at page 5 or 6). This Les Paul is GREAT!!!! As somebody else mentioned, it really looks like Slash's new signature guitar. Man, I Wish that I could try it out, full blown on a JCM 900!!! Excellent work!

How much for the padauk wood? Where can I find it? I'm thinking of making N4, so padauk is mandatory, at least for the body.

I have one that I'm not sure what to do with.
N2 or N4?

I saw a Nightwish video "Sacrament (of something, I dunno, I don't listen to them)" on a TV today and realized that the guy played N4 guitar!!! I would like to know if any of forum members own/owned this amazing guitar. I'm interested in rear pics of the guitar, especially the neck-to-body joint (Stephen's 5-bolt cutaway). If you have any info and pics, please post it here.
Thanx in advance

What about his guitar in the "Jump" video? I don't think it had the same headstock as Kramer.

I grew up playing my RG550 which has a maple fretboard
Same here, bro!
I reaaly like maple boards, especially if they are of figured variety. I reaaly like Phil Collen's signature Jackson-not-so-pointy that has really nice maple board.
Cheers, Dave! You've done it again. Three axes in a row.

Really nice guitar. I am a big fan of maple boards, so this is my cup of tea. You're are REALLY good, Dave. Congrats.

Very nice, man. Why won't you do the headstock as well?

I've just saw this thread. Man, it looks great! I really love edge chamfers + it is maple-on-maple neck!!!!!!
mullmuzzler | OSSMT

Being a RG550 man myself, I've always wanted similar guitar with my own touch or prefs for the tribute's sake. EMGs and figured maple top really come close. RG 550 is the first SERIOUS electric that I've bought back in 1991. But where's the maple board? Just kiddin'. Very, very beautiful, like always, Dave.
