  1. Give Canada a break - historically, they've always given about as good as they got. Gordon Lightfoot, Leonard Cohen, Buffy St. Marie, Ian & Sylvia, Steppenwolf, the Guess Who, Chilliwack, April Wine, Lighthouse, the Stampeders, Max Webster, Trooper, Red Rider, A Foot In Coldwater and Saga, just off the top of my head

You know April Wine AND The Stampeders? Dude, that's just awesome.

On a side note, Lighthouse was supposed to play at Woodstock, but their manager talked them out of it.

The guy that broke up with Allanus causing her to do that "men suck" album

Rumour has it that it was Uncle Joey from Full House that is responsible for that album. But if you want some real entertainment, look up Alanis's teeny bopper stuff before she hit it big time :D

  2. Well my next guitar is going to be A vintage style flying V body with A 3d green flamed maple top,I think it's going to be A semi hollow body 14 string guitar

(Just like A 12-string but bassed on A 7-string) Im also thinking that it may be fun to try Some kind of A cool F hole thing, I think I'll be useing An EMG for the pickup

but Im not sure yet,  So I want it to be something new for me and still have A modern look

    !!METAL MATT!! :D

A 14 string? Very cool idea. I'd like to hear some sound clips once you get that done.

Not to toot my own horn, but I'm rather proud of the patriotic f hole I have on my build right now. F hole with a maple leaf in the centre.

  3. I've got an update. Admittedly this is rough, and obviously there is no HTML code inserted yet, but I just wanted to give you guys an idea of where I'm at and what's going on. There is of course much, MUCH more information to be added. And as I was doing this, it became not so much a traditional FAQ, but more a list of definitions. So, if someone wondered what a truss rod was, they click on 'T' and it takes them to all the enteries under T.

  4. All the Rock/Pop/Top40 stuff I know is on the Oldies station now. :D

Now there is a question, when does something become Oldies? I mean I'm hearing the Tragically Hip circa Fully Completely on the Classic Rock station. Hell, they play the new U2 stuff on that station. But I digress...

  5. I enjoy Green Day. That being said, when their first album came out I definately didn't think they'd be around 10 years later winning grammies. Is there music, musically speaking simplistic? Well yeah, but then what punk music isn't?

As for the new album? Well, I won't discuss that. You cannot discuss this new album without it leading up to a discussion on politics and the state of society today. So, I won't do it.

  6. I saw this like 10 minutes after it was put up and I was still to late :D

I lucked out and saw it 2 minutes after it was posted :D

I hope whoever got it builds a nice acoustic.

I've started the preliminary research on building an acoustic. Hope I can do right by the wood B)

  7. guiness my friends, now thats a beer.

I agree 100%, I loves a beer that's like a liquid bread. My poor North American gut can't handle drinking more than a few of those in a night. And Keiths makes for a better entertaining beer.

Tried Leffe Brun the other night and was quite fond of that.
