(sorry for not posting it, forgot i guess) but i decided to make a mockingbird bass first then a telestyle, but i am gonna see how the first one turns out before i start the second of course...i will possibly post some pictures but not guaranteeing anything

hmmm didnt think "have more then enough wood, but was wondering about a shorter scale" could get any clearer but yes i do want a bass neck and i was just wondering about shorter scales (sorry i didnt use the word short scale, my mistake) and i am making a 22 fret bass with the normal size, just a little curious thats all

im marking the slots and i have alot of extra wood near the heel, and i was wondering if i could like make a shorter style bass neck, or if i might as well remark my wood...any advice would be good thanks

would it matter if i copied the spacing of my ibanez bass neck and lets say i was a tiny bit off, would that effect anything?

Drilling Holes For Bolt On Neck?

couldnt you just line up the neck is the neck pocket the way you want it, use a clamp or something similar to hold it there and then drill the holes in the back of the neck pocket so it would be a perfect match...thats just my opinion because it seems easiest -

My Ibanez Gio Bass' Neck Is Smaller?

yeah i was just kinda curious because my neck im making is based on my ibanez but its not the typical 2 1/2" necks so yeah -

i was fiddling around with my bass neck and i realized its 1cm or more smaller in width at the heel...anyone else find that weird?

i reminds me alot of the old fender p-bass (im pretty sure p-bass) and its a cream white with a white pickguard, and it has a chrom cover over the bridge kinda like the old fenders but it doesnt have the "F" on it

my friend has this old old bass but it has not name or anything on it becuase i think it wore off...is there a way of finding out the make and model of it?

that would be cool if it didnt have that piece on the behind that looked like a hockey stick haha but then again its your project so you do what you like. good luck...oh and where are you getting your steinburger tuners for the back?

that looks pretty cool, not to wild about the pain job (dont get me wrong its good, i just dont like it)but the shape on a bass looks quite cool
