I dont like bc riches neither, i dont rate them very much when it comes to sound, and i certainly dont rate them highly when it comes to looks 'Black an spikey YER!!!' or some other mad artwork that looks utterly ugly

Talking about an exploding noise my tv started doing that exact same thing!! I forgot exactly what the electrical guy said but it had something to do with old electronics and the heat..well actually lack of, he said it was to do with it being 'old an cold' LOL, nah seriously something to do with not being able to adjust to the temperature, dont know if thats got anything to do with an amp but thought id post it anyway

Hi, im planning on puttin inlays in to the fret board (not sure of what exactly yet) but I was wondering, do you put the inlays in before or after you radius it? because I was want to buy a pre-radiuses-pre slotted neck, and obviously id have to sand the board and inlays down level once id put them in, wuld this be ok to do? or would the fret board them be too thin?

I have a tin of spray on Clear acrylic finish and am wondering if this is suitable for guitar?

I like the sound off them, its quite abvious that yous guys dont but actually like it, and I think it would give a nice tone

This is not the reason for your problem but the laser sounds reminded me of something, if you use a televison remote and its close enough and is pointing towards the pickups it makes laser noises, it has nothing to do with your problem just thought id share the knowledge lol! , an electric toothbrush is meant to make strange noises when by the pickups too but never tried that one!

Im making a guitar with 2 humbuckers and a single coil in the middle of them, and i was wondering can i put a telecaster style neck pickup in the middle instead of a normal single coil? ive never seen this in any other guitars though, so im wondering if theres a reason not to do it?

If you go on the ibanez website and have a look at his guitar it has all the specifications on it, form pickups down to the thickness of the neck on the 1st and last fret and also how the wiring is done

This may sound stupid, as i am a complete noob at guitar building, but wouldnt a normal potentiometer attached to the body on its side just do the same job?

Hi, Im thinking of putting the inset style volume and tone controls(as in link above) onto a ibanez rg shape body, and wondered if theres any special way of routing or any special potentiometers ( I think thats spelt right!) needed, and if so any diagrams or website links would be much appreciated
