what will/ do you use on the neck so that your hand doesn't stick?
-
looks good as always.
In post 4, the first pic, what wood are you using to clamp it down? The brown streaky one
-
wow that looks really nice!
Do you think a spokeshave would be capable of doing that carve (besides inside the horns)?
-
the ironwood looks really nice.
and yes i would be fully interested in how to make your own bobbins
Something i noticed - the string through ferrules on the back don't seem to be straight, is that on purpose or poor drilling?
-
damn thats shiny!
-
i've never thought of doing two different woods like that for a neck, it looks really nice
-
I'm seeing a real dark purple
ha just realized, i saw one red and one blue, red + blue = purple, which is what i'm seeing now
I like the stain on this guitar
-

The paper space, is that A4 size? Cause if it is, i don't think i've scaled it right in model :/
-

-
what? how'd you sand with the frets on?
-
i do work in model, but i thought you had to put it in page to print so thats what i took screen shots of
-
Angus Young
Malcolm Young
Tom Morello
-

This is what screen i have to work with:
-
how are you supposed to say that?
-
that has to be my favorite guitar i have ever seen.
-
i was about to say looks like an ibanez, then i saw the tuners
-
i don't know about the body, but the length of a neck thru blank should be atleast 40" (well thats the length of the neck thru blanks on luthier supplies aus)
-
i work barefoot :/
I like the sound of this build too
-
i still think the headstock in the first picture is the best. Not as good as it can get but our of the shapes you've posted its the best
-
i don't know if i like the parker fly-ish headstock with that body
-
from the angle you took the photo made it look about 3" thick
-
looks good, what nationality is that myrtle?
-
ok.. nearly there
This is where i'm at now:
Its in page or whatever
Its to scale in model but when i put it in there its smaller, how do i set the scale for the page?
-
