Thanks for your reply...just to clarify a couple of things...by high E do you mean the lowest (wound string) or the non-wound string? And by bringing the saddle out you mean pushing it further away from the neck, correct?

Hey doods...first time poster here, I've got a question that's been burning me for a while. Hopefully someone can help me out. Where do you set a trem in relation to the neck on a guitar? I know the distance between the nut and 12th fret should be the same as the 12th fret to the string saddle...but obviously individual saddles can be adjusted. Sooo...where do you measure to? Do you measure to the centre point of the distance the saddle can move forwards/backwards? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
