Yah it's only open. I would assume that means I need a new nut yes? Because the slots are too deep? Max

Hello everyone. I recently changed the strings for the first time on my tele (just got it recently). I went up to my preferred 10's over the 9's that came from the factory. I resetup everying, following the helpful guides I found on this site. Everything seems to work, except that no matter how high I set the action, the g string still has a nasty buzz when played open. Anyone have any ideas about fixing this? Perhaps I need a new nut?
