awesome guitar. the finish came out so nice. i really like the unfinished 'binding' on the body contrasting with the dark color of the back. some day i hope to venture onto a neck through 7 string.

thanks guys. i was going by the warmoth specs, also. basically as long as i measure out the depth of the nut and bridge routes it looks like the neck angle won't matter. for example if i were to mount the bridge say 1/8" deeper than usual i could just route the nut 1/8" higher.

hey guys. first post here. i wish i came across this site a long time ago! briefly, i've built a strat with a warmoth neck, and a bolt on strat (actually soloist) from scratch. now i'm about to try a neck thru flying v. basically i want a v and nobody makes one with the exact options i want. i actually have almost all the stuff in hand and hope to start it in the next week but i have a few questions, mostly about the neck angle. i plan on using a floyd rose original double locking system. would i actually need to integrate an angle? i was told by a guy from bc rich that if i were to recess the bridge i would not even need an angle because the saddles would be so low. i had thought the same thing but now i'm having doubts. i've sketched out diagrams with the height of the nut and the saddles and it seems like it will work fine. but i still have this feeling like something isn't right. any idea's or thoughts? thanks.
