How do you replace them? I assume you have to remove some wood to sink them--what kind of tool does that take?

Thanks, haggardguy. I fretted about it quite a bit, given the trouble I had with the stain, but in the end (as mad as I had gotten), it ended up about where I wanted it. I've got to learn to go with the flow!
