Actually a SPDT switch is needed to switch between normal operation and clipping in this situation...a SPST switch only has two terminals to connect to so this will not work.

Not trying to start anything, but Actually you will need to add a SPDT toggle switch to switch between normal operation and clipping. otherwise with a SPST switch it will just switch off and on between the clipping and an open resistor....the SPST switch only has two terminals to solder to. Paul
