Not trying to start anything, but
Actually you will need to add a SPDT toggle switch to switch between normal operation and clipping.
otherwise with a SPST switch it will just switch off and on between the clipping and an open resistor....the SPST switch only has two terminals to solder to.

Actually a SPDT switch is needed to switch between normal operation and clipping in this situation...a SPST switch only has two terminals to connect to so this will not work.
