  1. I had great luck with Mike. Knowledgeable, willing to help, and quick. http://www.kcanostubes.com/content/
  2. Thanks, I'll use the bracket you mentioned to bridge the void and mount from there. Here's a pic of the shielding.
  3. I bought a Warmoth LP body and neck. I've gotten all my parts together, did a mock fit up. I'm using Lollar P-90's, shielded wiring, bridge ground wire, and copper shielded contol cavities. I know I'll have some hum, I just want to avoid as much hum as possible. I'm ready to put this puppy together, but I'm left with two questions. 1. How do you shield soapbar P-90's? I at this point I'm inclined to wrap the bobbin w/ conductive tape and solder it to the ground of the shielded wire. I'd have to tape the hot lead w/ electical tape to avoid a potential short. Any suggestions? 2. How do I mount the neck pickup? The neck pu cavity has the wiring channel routed right thru where the mounting screws would screw into the body. So the screws are too short. (yeah... I know get longer screws ). Any other suggestions about how to get around this?
