  1. Thanks for the help guys. I know there is no easy solution to a HSS setup. If I go with all 500k pots should I do the treble bleed mod as well. My only concern there is I love how the fuzz face cleans up with the volume knob and have heard the treble bleed mod changes this quite a bit.

  2. The neck and body were premade from USACG. The neck pocket is very tight so Im pretty sure there isnt an alignment issue.

The 6-2 strings run straight but the high E runs at a slight angle down the fretboard until it is very close to the edge of the frets at the highest frets.

Would the nut be the problem?

  3. I just had a nut installed on my guitar and the tech told me the string spacing was too wide for my neck.

The string spacing is 2 7/32 and the nut is 1 11/16.

All strings are fine except for the high E which runs at a slight angle from nut to bridge leaving the string very close to the edge of the fretboard at the higher frets.

Please help me solve this problem.

  4. So if the body is 1.75" thick and I use a 1" bit(with bearing on the top) I use the router in 1/2" increments then flip the body over and finish the remaining portion with another bit that has a bearing on the bottom.

Does the bearing ride on top of the template?

Will I have to make a template for the back of the guitar as well as the top?

  5. Anyone else out there have the Bosch 1590?

It has an optional precision control system where two guides are in place next to the blade to prevent blade run out.

    Should I use this?

What speed should I run the saw?

What type of blade should I use?

The jigsaw also has a blade orbit selector depending on what your cutting.

There is a setting for scrolling work and one for cutting hardwood.

    Which setting do I use?

Im new to all of this and appreciate all of your help.
