    Hello all, The Tele project that I am working on was speced with black pearloid binding. I have searched around and I haven't found any. Does it exist? Texas Tele Project I've thought about, as an alternative, rubbing Mixol black stain on bleached quilted maple binding and then sanding it back a bit before clear coats. Might give a similar look.     Hello all. I am currently working on my 3rd guitar. It is a Tele style that features the Lone Star flag. It will have an alder back, bookmatched carved quilted maple top, maple neck and fretboard. Chrome hardware, no pickguard. It's a bit different than most flag guitars. I'm a 3D graphic artist by trade and this website has some previz stills and animation of how the design evolved and what the guitar will look like when completed. Lots of photos and info on not only the guitar but the setup of my tools and garage workshop. The guitar is well under way but far from completed. The Texas Tele Commnts welcome. Peace, Mark
