  1. I also thought that if I could get another either KG1 or KG2 i could use the neck and sell the body. I bought the KG1 originally for parts for the KG2 because the KG1 was disassembled and the body was rough at best. Then I decided to sand the body and make it a shannon hoon (from blind melon) tribute guitar. My aunt is painting it and it is turning out amazingly. I am really anxious to get it put together.
  2. Thanx for the advice doc. I thought of that before and I just never really had the confidence to try to make one becuase as we all know the neck is the most difficult part of the guitar to fabricate. Good thought though, couldn't hurt to try. thanx
  3. thanx for the help, these kalamazoo's are a pain to find stuff for but they play great. The KG2 plays amazingly well. I love it and would never sell it.
  4. i really want to get an orignal neck. the neck at the heel is 1 3/32" tall and 2 3/16" wide. Also the scale length is 24 21/32".
  5. Alright, its basically one of the first SG's made. I think its made of basswood, but i could be wrong. Its a '67 i think. There is a picture of it on the bottom of this page: Kalamazoo page I have one of the older ones that is on this page and it is awesome. I need a neck for the new one though.
  6. Does anyone know anywhere online that I can find a kalamazoo neck for a '67 kalamazoo solid body?
