You gonna do anything about the end of the fretboard? I feel like there's too much wood after the last fret, looks kinda awkward.... maybe add another fret or something....
As it stands, there are 22 frets - not enough room for 24 - and 23 would be even more awkward than a bit of fretboard IMO.
Yea your probably right, just looks kinda barren to me... but still, it looks amazing
Oh, and is there any chance you could get that wood soon for me?

Love the top on this one, but I've always wondered... why do you leave the heel like that on all your builds? There's nothing wrong with it now and it looks comfortable, but its a neck-thru so you shouldn't have any problems removing more from the heel and making it more comfortable, right?

This looks really nice, I love it... really like the soundholes on the left

About a month or so back I did some tests with a combination of pads and compounds and came up with varying results. I spent a fortune on different products and I have finally found a system that will deal with scratches and swirl marks on cellulose, acrylic single stage, polyurethane 2k and even the rock hard polyesters.I will stress one thing and that is don't read too much into the hype that some products tell you as the stuff that I bought will give you superior gloss and flawlessness for a fraction of the price some superior claim products have. The best products that I use cost less than £15 and that is with the pads as well. Do some of your own testing and come up with what works for you but like I say don't dismiss cheaper products they work just as well
What combination of eeverything did you find works best from your experiments? Sounds interesting...

same as mine. exactly the same.
maybe your aluminum is too thin. Mine is 1/8" and seems fine.
Yea I knew fro you had the same one from your build thread
My aluminum's 1/16" I think. Maybe I'll replace it with some thicker aluminum

I built one just like Metalheads, in fact I pretty much copied it because it looked very good and simple. The aluminum I used may be too thin, but Im pretty sure mine bends in the middle, making it kinda useless

I think I'll buy a mahogany blank, but I gotta wait til I get some more money

photo bucket is free for a basic account.
You could also upload them to imageshack without making an account
I am interested in the mahogany though, uploading pictures would be very helpful.

Im following this to add a veneer, and when I tried to cut it out with the exacto, it cracked. Luckily the crack was small and wont be seen when its all done, but Im having trouble cutting it. How can I make it more flexible and cut easier?

I also prefer the 4mm radius
And I love these ergonomic guitars... some ergonomic ones look really odd, but I actually like the shape, its really nice. I'd love to play one of these and see how they feel.
How about you send me one of these when its finished and I'll test it for you... I'll even do it for free!
