La Traviata? la Boheme? Il trovatore? Turandot? Carmen? Pagliacci? which Opera?
Ha! I had that one coming, didn't I?
The Opera browser, download it at opera.com, is probably the fastest and least bloated of the 4-5 most used browsers.

I even tried to find a way for you to contact Wilkinson directly, but they have no site, no E-mail that I can find. So, good luck dude, I can't find anything."
Trev sold the rights to the Wilkinson tremolo units to Gotoh a while back. Try getting in touch with them @ www.g-gotoh.com
Here's a quick tip re the UG forum. Use Firefox as your browser but first install the "adblock" add-on. It will stop UG's annoying pop up ads. Get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865/Or just use Opera

Agreed, Prostheta. (And Mattia, I couldn't have put it any better myself!)
Now, I guess I'm not the only one eagerly anticipating progress and pictures. Bring it on, Muffin-man

Perhaps you could turn it around on the back and make a smaller lower horn, or something. It would both help you salvage most of the wood and also gain more experience. After all, correcting mistakes is one of the best ways to gain experience and get better...

Personally I'm a big fan of Parker guitars. So much, in fact, that I'm planning to do a neck-thru Dragonfly (without the carbon back) soon.
As for the Parker vs. traditional guitars discussion, Parker has tried to catch the eye of a larger guitarist community by releasing a guitar (still the Dragonfly) that's more in line with "normal" guitars but that still retain some of the features of the original Fly.

Hi there,
Judging from my own experience, mainly as a drop tuning fanatic, my preferred 7 string tuning is: AEADGBE
The good thing with this tuning is that you have a standard 6 string tuning for chords etc, as well as the drop-A for your metal/rock type songs.
Other alternatives are: AEADGAE or even AEADEAE (fifths, here we come) that can give you really nice octaves and a folk-ish sound.

A lot of great guitarists being mentioned here (RestorationAD got a lot of it right) but I feel a few has been lost to the Rush debate
My all time favorite will always be Slash - great, catchy leads, good tone/timbre, lovely hat.
Other guitarists worthy of mention:
Steve Lukather
Richie Kotzen
John Mitchell (Arena, Kino, Frost, It Bites)
Joey Eppard (3) - Unique style
Daniel Gildenlöw (Pain of Salvation)
Mattew Bellamy
Roine Stolt (Flower Kings, Transatlantic, Agents of Mercy)
Adam Jones (Tool)
Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth)
