well i have been trying out a powerball for over a week now,and it is much better than any of those peavey amps.the clean is pristine,and the gain channels are brutal...

but i am well aware that brutality is in the eye of the brutalizer

For sure... the Powerballs are amazing amps no question.

My Voodoo modded 5150 can not be touched through these Vader 4x12's. UNMATCHED brutality. Tone so thick, make you want to slap yo' mama!

I have large hands and fingers... Gibson scale just doesn't cut it for me. I find my self tripping over my fingers on a 25.5 still.

The frog allready said what I was thinking... Every one of my guitars a different sweet spot for my picking hand.

Im working on a flamemaple/purpleheart/walnut/purpleheart/flamemaple lam neck w/ a purple heart headstock right now. Havent had any problems thus far.

You can make that thing for half as much as he is selling it for...

Wow..... I came to this thread with a sure vote for Toddler in mind. Then saw the Rashin.... now Im stumped!

In the end, the heel on the Rashin looks a bit builky for my tastes, so it goes to Toddler.

Bandsaw or any saw for that matter. Then use rasps and spokeshaves for the back of the neck.

Definitely fretting out right there...

I have an Ampeg 8x10 that I have been thinking about ripping the rest of the tolex off and spraying it with some bedliner.

I can't tell if it's just the rough cut or not but the horn looks a little weird to me. The lines don't quite work.

Thats cool...but I would suggest routing the neck pocket, and probably the pickups, with a jig instead. Just to make sure they come out perfect.

I second that. The routes dont look so hot in my eyes.

About 4-5 bar clamps. It doesnt really matter to me if the pieces dont line up exactly becuase it goes through the drum sander any way.

I just sold my Gibson...... Never been a fan of the feel, scale length, & quality.

My buddy has a $3000 Les Paul and the thing is a pile of junk. The thing is a huge mess, I couldnt even believe Gibson let the ambomination out of their shop.

Adjust, tune, adjust, tune. DONT remove a spring, worst idea ever.
