Ok, well I'm going to say that we're all done with this foolishness.
So back on the matter at hand. When can we expect some pictures Mr. Alex?
Please, let's not beat a dead horse. If only we had some pictures to comment on...(hint, hint)

Is it just me, or does he never even say exaclty what he's selling?
-
Now that you've done that, you have my blessing. May the guitar gods be with you in your restorations.

Normally I'm all for shafting the picture rule, but that's ridiculous man. I have to scroll horizonatally to see those.

As long as you don't think they're using you, I think you're doing an acceptable thing. I really enjoy building, and if I can make just a tad bit of money off of building something, well that's great. It's the building that I enjoy, not having the final product(but that can be nice too). This will be an opportunity for your friends to show off your work; then when there's a buzz, you can charge their friends twice as much for the same thing.

I don't think you'll see a builder on this site who uses a skunk stripe on their handmade necks. I certainly don't. It's much easier(IMHO), when you're building by hand, to just pop the truss rod in under the fret board. And i did use my own bit. If you use a 1/4" bit and a jig so it's no more than 1/4", you probably won't even notice the extra 1/32". Mine looks really tight. Once you add the silicon glue, it will be tight anyhow.

Well from the looks of all of your posts tonight, it would seem as though you did not wake up on the right side of the bed mr. rhoads.
edit: I guess that's actually today for you.
**EDIT**I just want to apologize to everyone for having an opinion and being able to express it in a civilized way, without the use of vulgarities.**EDIT**

I didn't bother getting stewmac's. I used the next closest thing(can't remember if it was 3/16 or 1/4, i'd have to look at stewmac's specs), but it was a tight fit anyhow.

major bummer, JEMsite.com will be down a while. They have a homepage that links to their main site that says the site is down temporarily. Just as well, gives me time to think of something supremely offensive. Any tips as to what would offend an ibanez owner would be greatly appreciated.

Hot rod takes less experience to install. It's maximum depth is also less than a traditional truss rod, but what you gain in depth that way you lose in its depth at the nut. I like it though. There's almost no way you can screw up with that truss rod...almost.

I may get banned, but not before they have an email address to spam with hate mail. Hilarity will ensue, I don't know if I'm feeling creative enough tonight though.
-
I may do just that...do you have a link to this JEM site? I've never been an ibanez fan and i sure would like to light a fire under their butts.
-
Don't give him so much credit, he does play an ibanez after all.
...let's see how many JEM fans from this site come to my house tonight to try to assassinate me.
-
...or you could do it the easy way and use a 3/4" roundover bit in a 3HP router.
I KID, I KID!!!

Hold an act of God, it looks as though your guitar will take the win, stew; I'd be lying if I said you didn't deserve it.

Maybe that's part of the graphic and it just looks raised. If it is raised and if he puts enough clear on it, it will disappear.

It can't destroy tube(when I say "tube," I mean the warm tone associaed with tubes) tone unless...you put it in your effects loop after your preamp and before your power amp. That is the only way I would run a processor. And that is not a personal attack either.
Also, when I started playing guitar, I owned a digitech processor. The G-major was worlds better than digitech, but both gave me nothing but trouble as far as tone and general backround noise. I have a friend who owns a j-station and it really isn't much better. In my opinion it's easier to find a good, non-tone coloring analog pedal than it is to find a pocessor of the like.

Use a screw to fasten a stack of thick, heavy washers in the control cavity.
-
Doesn't need that much oxygen huh? Well that just blows my whole theory. Good to know though.
-
noooooo, not a J station! processors eat tone for breakfast. i used a g major for a month once, I hate what those things do to tube tone.
and why do you have your volume at the beginning of the line? To get a dry mix to your amp? I always put my volume at the end of the line up just in case I leave say, a chorus pedal, on and I get that subtle (swoosh) and I want to quick kill my sound if I can't figure out where it's coming from.

Go to any big airport and find the smoking room in there. Hide it under a seat cusion and come back a month later. Have you ever seen those rooms? You have better visability when you're flying through a rain cloud; it's ridiculous.

I would only use it if I was stabalizing a wood. It will make the wood as strong as plastic if it's a small piece like a humbucker mounting ring or knob. Remember though, CA glue requires oxygen(and more often than not, a basic[as opposed to acidic] surface as well) to dry properly. For this reason, any porus woods such as mahogany should have their grains filled prior to exposing to CA.
Custom Metallic Logos

How many pages and logos do you get for the $16? I'd expect at least 2 or 3 full pages of logos. You realize there's a tutorial on this site somewhere that tells you how to make your own, right? You can't print the metalic part out from your pc, but it looks like it will still work.
