iv allread been on this but i dont under stand how to do figure it out im using the same LED's as him but hes using 6 AA batterys where as im using a 9V battery so i need bigger resitors but i dont know wich ones

im putting 10 LEDs in my fret boared powered by a 9V battery, 12mA DC Forward Current rating and 3.5 LED voltage drop. what size resistor do i need for each LED

iv just started clear coating so guitar should be finished in about 2 weeks

this is nearly finished now should i submit it for guitar of the month or wait till next month and can u submit it this month and then again next month

first thing to do is mask off the fretboared then go get urself a can of primer spray it allover the back of the neck in the appropriate way and wait for it to dry then sand down any bumps next spray on your coulor in thye appropriate way and wait for i to dry and then start to lacquer it up, this take ages to dry though so be prepared to wait

i was just gonna clear coat it when i noticed a small bit that hadnt be cover by the paint 100% so i got my can of black paint as started to spray it but it was the last bit of the can so it spat all over the guitar body so iv had to sand a bit off and then im gonna buy some more paint and spray it again then clear coat it

iv just made t thing to hang my guitar while painting it i put a sweeping beush between to wheelie bins and a hanger in the middle and the hung the body from the hanger through the neck screw holes so now painting is comin on very nicley

im not sure nut if you did put a pickup in a necj you would have to get some ong screw and replace the ones in the pickup allready so the can get closer to the strings, then drill 6 holes in the fret boared to fit the screws

ok yesterday i went to clear coat thye front of the hearstock so it turned the neck so the fretboard was facing the sky and started. but later on i went to bring the neck in picked it up and the back of the neck had moulded itself to the table i was working on as the clear coat wasnt perfectly set when i turned it over. so i had to sand a bit down touch up on the primer then the black and the the clear coat. you can kindda see a dint but nothing major as im gonna wet and dry sand it then put another clear coat on it

yes this would be paossable and you could have 2 numbucjers just the neck on would sound more like a middle pickup

yeh the pics arnt great and they do look better with the neck on im goint o add some complete pictures in a couple of weeks as iv just done the clear coat so i have to wait for it to dry and as for having 3 well when i bought the wood there was enought for 3 bodies i had bought a fernandes sutainer kit but i also wanted a guitar for heavy metal stuff and the i wanted on with a curved top so in the end i ended up with 3 i think im gonna sell the on with the sustainer kit in though

The first one is the most interesting, Drak's right, that carve makes it a better design. Though it feels like it needs accenting somehow, just painting both higher and lower sections matte black feels like it's missing something. As for the other two - the top horn is too flat , looks like someone just chopped the top off, ya know? Good work though, all the routing etc. looks very clean and tidy, good templates I take it? ← yeh the other two need reshapin they havnt bee properly sanded yeh as for templates i found so thin piec of wood in garage so drew around my SG and added a top horn i had to cut it out using a jigsaw so the side were really rough but i manage to sand them down
