  5. I have a brand new black Seymour Duncan JB for sale. Standard pole spacing. Still in original packaging. Looking for $60 shipped or best offer. Thanks
  6. I have a neck from a Peavey Wolfgang Special for sale. Minimal fretwear, routed for a top mount R2 FR Nut. No tuners, no nut. Looking $200 shipped or best offer.
  7. Standard pole spacing is 1.925 give or take center-to-center from the first polepiece to the sixth. TremBucker(Meant for trem equipped or wide string spaced guitars) spacing is slightly wider so the outer poles line up with the outer strings. Seymour Duncan does a poor job explaining the difference on their site, so I got something from DiMarzio. Just subsitute F-Spacing with Trembucker This is from DiMarzio's Website. It explains the difference:
  8. I have a pair(One neck, one bridge) of Seymour Duncan BlackBacks for sale. Zebra bobbins, Trembucker spacing. Used under an hour. These pickups go for 90 dollars each and you can have both for $120 shipped to the US or best offer. Shipping anywhere else can be arranged. Thanks.
  9. That's awesome. I love Purple Heart. Always wanted to do a guitar with it. After seeing this, I will be doing one eventually.
  10. Awesome work. Love that body shape. Great color too.
  11. I'm finally getting around to entering my first guitar into the GOTM contest. I call it the Welt Custom. It's essentially a copy of an EBMM EVH Signature model but with my specs. 12. Ha! I love it! Great idea. Can't wait to see it done! Keep up the good work
  13. Thanks for the response. Glad you liek it. One thing about the color is pictures do NOT do it justice. Yesterday I took more pictures outside. Heres an angle shot of the back. I'll try to get some better ones later on: http://www.EddieVanHalen.com/images/uploads/Back.jpg Heres a close up on the back of the headstock: http://www.EddieVanHalen.com/images/uploads/Back_Head.jpg Heres a close up of the bridge and "Tone" knob: http://www.EddieVanHalen.com/images/uploads/bridge1.jpg And finally here is another front shot: http://www.EddieVanHalen.com/images/uploads/front_sun_2.jpg
  14. Thanks for the response. I honestly forgot about the B string not being cut. its been done. I was thinking gold hardware, but decided against it. The Trem i wanted didnt come in gold. I know that the Wolfang and Musicman are similar, but this is an EVH/Axis style body. not much difference, but just to clear things up. glad you like it
  15. I haven't been around here for a while. Anyway, on Saturday I finished my first guitar. I relieved to have it completly done. Let me know what you guys think please: http://www.EddieVanHalen.com/images/uploads/Dino_Style.jpg http://www.EddieVanHalen.com/images/uploads/Headstock_1.jpg I will try to get a few shots in the sunlight to really show off the color.
  16. Very awesome GOTM. I've been waiting for Dave to finish his guitar for ages now. It'll be a tough one.
  17. Thanks Dave. It was a random color that I was experimenting with in small qaunities. Found the color, but didnt know the exact ratio so, it took some patience in matching the color. Can;t wait to see your guitar all done. Been following your build for a long time.
  18. Totally agree. ← I was originally planning on doing a natural binding. It didnt work out and now I want to bind it. I know its risky. I'm willing to take that risk. I didn't plan on this happening.
  19. I started clearing the top yesterday to seal the top for binding. Clear Coat I will take a picture of it out in the sun later today.
  20. Thanks for the comments. I like the color. The black turned into a slight hunter green.
