Wouldn't a closed cabinet be fire-retardent? Being that fire cannot exist without oxygen.
-
The body designs look like you snapped a picture of a lava lamp.

I'm gonna build just the V part of it becuase I really like that flat part past the bridge.
-
Some one on here bought a hamer I believe it was and said it was better than the gibson explorers as far as quality and playability.

I thought up a power strip with tentical-like arms so that you could use ALL the outlets when using power adapters instead of just 2 or 3(I needed 2 power strips to get all my adapters in). I was messing with the idea of calling it "the octopus". A year or two later I'm walking through target and BAM! there's the "power squid" same exact idea except one thing, it exists. Its inventor of it is on some beach and me left pissed and, in ownership of one....

The Breedlove/Bridge Doctor concept certainly works in thier guitars. I can't bash it till I try it.
Unfortunatley trying it in Las Vegas means going to the troll
Just hide his gold, that'll keep him busy for a few hours.

A guitar I really like that reminds me of those is Shawn William's. It's a custom his uncle build for him, you can see it on his myspace here: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?...27-1ed340d43b6e

Do you have a rough idea of what you want it to sound like?

writing what? music, lyrics?

You could probably track a double edge down new or lightly used but be prepared to spend 350+

Marshall's another brand where people think the name's more important than the sound. "Who need a $600 Carvin that sounds great when I have a $1,500 crappy sounding (Trumpets)MARSHALL!(end trumpets)"

Turn more heads with an evil pointy guitar with Jesus on it than an evil pointy guitar painted plain black.

I dont think theres anything you can to to make it shorter that won't involve you going through the clear.

THAT WAS ED'S SHOP!!?? I saw that episode but I didn't see it was Ed's place.
-
what if you took a cast then filled it with a cheaper material THEN duplicarved it onto a wooden body? That might work.
-
I've heard good things about Mighty might mother buckers or GFS and they are both dirt cheap, I say try either of those out then if it isn't the pickups making it sound bad you haven't wasted your money.

Well usually you can tell the idiotic teens and beginners from the 35-50 year old player that actually know what they're talking about.
Azn guitarist- Last I checked 171 WAS over 100

Have you checked Harmonycentral.com? There's probably over a hundred reviews on that amp.

Do basses really get fretboard wear? I mean its from your fingers touching the fretboard and on basses the strings are so big I don't think they ever touch the fretboard, It does look good though.

Isn't it funny that with 6000+ members we still haven't broken 100 votes?

Just seems like a funny/sad way to do business.
You're talking about the same guy that has a big picture of two cats pawing at a dead mouse on his home page. His way of doing business is anything but conventional.
-
not to hijack, but how do you get the picture of the guitar out of that program? I could never figure it out.
-
for 3000 dollars you could get a professional luthier to build you a custom les paul using all your specs, i think thats more worth it than that little "gibson"sticker on the headstock.
