Got the decals printed today. I only need one Kramer one but you gotta pay for one A4 sheet so you may as well fill it up The body work has finished, so now its time to get painting. The body will be primed and then painted in a solid white colour. I should get this done over the next couple on nights.

Some made, some downloaded. I used to do alot when I was playing in a duo, you know pubs and clubs but I just dont seem to find the time much anymore. Ive got quite alot and Ill get them posted when time permits. Hopefully others have some in their mp3 collections they would like to share.

The guitar in the jump video is the original Frankenstein guitar that Eddie built, only this time it has an original Kramer Pacer 'beak' headstock. That guitar had about 4 different necks that I can remember.

Got one sourced from a man on ebay. He sells 5150 parts. Strage way to make a living I know but his necks and bodies are excelent. This is one of his with an oil finish. Mine will be birdseye maple without the finish.

Yeah thats the 1984/hot for teacher video one. Still like the 5150 best tho. Something about the slanted humbucker just looks strange to me.

The edges of the pickup rout were then ground to an angle with my dremmel so the filler (still to be applied) would blend smoothly into the body and not leave an edge. Ive put some primer over the repair and it looks seamless.

I roughed up the inside of the rout to give the epoxy putty something to bite into. This stuff dries like concrete and doesnt shrink/contract. It remains stable upto 120 deg Celcius.

Ive been wanting one for as long as I can remember, so I finally decided to bite the bullet and make it. I have been scouring Ebay for ages waiting to find the right body and here it is. And this is what Im aiming for..... Ive allready filled the neck pickup rout and the switch/tone knob holes, modified the jack socket hole to take the correct jack and rough sanded the entire body. More pics to come!!!!!

Im building my Van Halen 5150 Kramer replica and I need a Floyd. I want one in good to excelent condition, and may even consider a new one if any of the retailers out there sell them. I remember someone here selling them new..........cant find em tho. Also looking for a D-Tuna too. Please post what you've got!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah............chrome.

Playing a piezo pickup through a regular guitar amp sounds almost electric like. You need to play through full range speakers. Most piezo guitar manufacturers will recomend you run the output of the piezo straight into the mixing desk and then to the regular P.A. not your guitar amp. Might be worth a try.

hehe, I come here for your company and support. Dont get me wrong, its not the last guitar Ill own or build, but its a nice addition to whats been a very very long line of guitars. And anyway, the electronics are gonna be sweet fitted into a Les Paul style double cut a way or maybe a Strat body..........who knows????????????
