What do you mean by mounting the output jack angle? Are you talking about the metal jack plate? A bit of a description oucld be helpful.

Well what sort of guitar are you making? Normally side mounted jacks are angled almost half way between parellel and perpendicular to the neck. The Jem output jack is going upwards. It depends what sort of guitar it is I suppose.

You can get long and short shafted pots so you want to make sure you get the right length. Long shafts are generally for Les Pauls and short ones are for everything else. As for body diameter, most pots should fit in the cavity. I think it's a 500K pot for a hummer but I've been wrong about this before.

Well, that is part of it but chances are the KE2 is hand crafted, not CNCed. Also, more care would have be used making the KE2. Better finishes, construction techniques, stuff like that. It all adds up to a supposedly "better" guitar.

I reckon just replace the pot. They're fairly inexpensive. What sort of pickups does it have? Humbuckers or single coils?

I'm not sure if this is right but I think Monster cables have a life time guarantee so that if they ever break, free instant replacement. Apparently, you could juust cut up one in front of a music shop employee and they have to give you a replacement. Hence the high price.

Shame I hadn't known you were looking for one. I just did it (badly) on an Epiphone strat that had a two post standard trem on it.

Nope other way around. 1C is hotter than 1F so it's 100C = 212F if that's right at all. But Centigrade is hotter than farenheit.

Weezerboy: I don't know. I reckon if you bake it for long enough and make sure it's good quality playdough, it could be quite a nice guitar. Not sure about the neck though. Reckon it could be a bit sticky and/or crumbly!

Got a bit of a problem at the moment. Firstly, can anyone post a diagram for wire dual humbuckers with 2 volume and one tone. And secondly, because it's an aluminium pickguard, I'm getting horrible ground hum from it due to the ground loops annoying each other. Anyone got any suggestions to fix it?

I'd love to give it a go but one gutiar has EMG's and the other has ESP's. I'll do it if you ship to Ireland.

Sounds like maybe another truss rod tweak, leaving it to settle afterwards and possible raising the bass side of the bridge.
