  1. yeah this Fuzz face I have planned is actually two fuzz faces and a Green Ringer all cramed into one case.

if size isnt an issue, you may want to put a compressor in there....from what i remember the green ringer benefits greatly from it.

infact, theres a orange squeezer/green ringer in one box on someones site....but cant really remember :D

  2. @ weezer boy : that looks like a cool set up. How does the tonebender sound? did you use the Tonepad schematic for it? I was thinking about adding a switchable thrid transistor on a fuzz face when I make one so I can turn it into a tonebender and back at the flick of a switch B)

its sound great, apart from that fact that it keeps on cutting out if i hit too hard...a part of me thinks its probably misbiased transistors - but really i have no idea as i am quite the newb :D

it was built from a build your own clone kit...and cost me nothing when i bought the delay, as i was rather mean to the supplier :D

the switching idea would be cool, the only success ive ever had with modding a circuit is the stratoblaster in one of my guitars...you can switch between slight boost and a fat overdriven sound, my favourite new toy :D

  3. my pedalboard is a mish mash of junk really:

    cry baby wah

    big muff

    danelectro phaser

    line6 uber metal

    line6 echo park

loop/delay/reveb thing (cant remember off the top of my head what it is, but i love it)

and self made ones on there:

parallel universe (everyone needs one...maybe i should start a charity?)

    stratoblaster

    smashdrive

    tonebender mkII

    and what i want next:

    tremulus lune

    crash sync

another parallel universe with exp pedal

some more phasers, because they love me.

  4. the send and recieve are like inputs and outputs (respectively)

so you take a cable from the send of the amp to the input on the ge-7, and a cable from return on the amp to the output of the ge-7

alternatively, you could just use it like a normal stompbox with the guitar going into the input of the ge-7l, and the output going to the input of the amp.

  5. How can I measure how much current my pedal is drawing?

    From F Peña:

You have to interrupt the circuit measure current.

    Do this:

    Set your DMM on DC/mA.

Plug only the - side of the battery to the battery snap.

On the + contact of the battery, touch the red probe and on the free

contact of the battery snap touch the black one.

You should get the reading on the meter this way.

and tonemonkey, those are just dpdt switches - and mighty expensive too :D
