They would be a good starting point i guess
Also, where are you in the UK?
Anywhere near Luton?

Dave Gilmour.

thanks so much guys especialy gregory for your comments i really appreciate it and will get started on it.
Except it will only take you, ohh, a day to lay out the dots, and umm, way too long to remove them (before the paint starts drying, which lifts the paint as you pull the dots). Good luck!! You want masking film with the dots cut out, so it can be pulled off in one sheet, straight after spraying.
Hmmm, now Perry, you wouldn't happen to know of someone, possibly in the lower hemisphere, who may have these, after say, building a batch for sale would you?

I only found out when one of the guys from a band at work told me.
Really depressing.
Music without prejudice almost originated from him.
Will be sorely missed.

Just kinda completes it.

Good job!

How about if you ran the output straight to the middle pick up volume, and then have a volume for each pick up, and a master tone.
Then run the output from the middle pick up out straight to the jack, because then you can blend it in on any config, and by itself.
Just an idea
Matt
-
your brige idea is great.. i allway think that..
What is special about it? It's just a common Les Paul bridge config as far as I can tell....
It seems to be slightly Recessed into the body.
Nice guitar.
-
wow, looking good!
I like the natural bingding as well!
keep em comin!

Did i miss this bit, but are you have an in/out switch, or is it constanly going to be going throught he EQ?

did you or the school pay for it, cos if the school did, that would be awesome!

The only well known player to consistantly use one is the guitar player from the Meters (forgot his name)...basically a terrific guitar much overlooked
Doesnt Thom Yorke or Jonny (greenwood???) from Radiohead play one as well?
Sorry, but my radiohead knowledge is terrible, so i may be wrong!
Matt

No order, cos i cant stand ordered lists
Chris Rea (has anyone said this yet?)
Eric Clapton
John Frusciante (honestly, i think he is a good minamilist player, think BSSM rather than BTW)
Jimmy Page
George Harrison
Justin/Dan Hawkins
Jimi Hendrix
Dave Gilmour
Matt Belamy
and im tempted to say slash, so that'll do for now.
Oh and Pete Townsend, Andy Summers, Grant Nichols, and various other underatted guys.
One palyer who i think is scaryly underated is Dave Baksh. Hes the Lead guitarist from Sum 41. Listening to some of his solos is amazing, and the riffs that he builds kick behind.
And Underated player number 2: Richie Sambora. Listen to slippery when wet. have a good arguement about why not

Sorry i dont know really what you mean, could you explain ?
Ok, so what i mean is, you leave the body wood natural.
Just cleared or something.
Then you get a walnut stain, or black stain etc, and stain your cavity that was for the inlay.
I personally think it would look cool, kind of intensify the rout pattern.
BTW, are the bridge etc gonna be in the inlay??

Would a bit like this work for an SG bevel?
yeah, but it looks like a 45* bevel. i dont think that SG's are THAT pointy on the edges. might be wrong though!
