    Yer, so my rokeors AT1 as some of you know have been getting many complaints as the horns aint lookin right. And to go with that, I realised that the design will not fit my hardcase specially for it. So therefore as a back-up plan, I wanted to convert my design into a singlecut. However, how?

    i just wanted to know which are some of your favourite or unqiue singlecuts. IN fact, you don't have to like it. I just need a collection of differnt singlecuts thats all. THanks guys.

    Wow, you know your way around Hong Kong. Sorry its not mid-levels. Its happy valley.

    And the 53rd floor thingy is just a joke. I live on the 12th. But the building besides me is 77 stories tall. I can take pictures from my window if you dont believe me. but I can't see all the way to the top or my neck will break (for real)

    Well there are two CNC machines I have to choose from. A huge 3mx5m CNC or a 350mmx450mm CNC. I chose the smaller one because it has multiple changing tools but really because it has vacumn sucktion clamping. Therefore the outline of the body can also be done for you. I can going to cahnge the horns totally because it doesn't fit the hard case I bought for it yesterday. Anyways. May convert the design into a PRS singlecut type/Mcnaught thingy leaving the pointy end.

    Anyways. THe neck is done. Here are the pics:

    Oh, by the way, my mirror covers are done now. They were cut by laser. Including the pickup rings.

    And for those finishing pros here, how do I get rid of the small scratches from the laquer. Polishing with 8000 doesn't do the trick. Only a bit is removed.

    Blistering Barnacles! Holy sweet mother of pearl!

    I take back what I have said before. I agree that it is much much better with those photography skills outside. Its not just 200% better, make that 500%!!!

    Excellent...the perfling looks otstanding...the fretboard wood just shines and the black laminate making the lines on the neck and body are pro. Only thing that I personally don't think is my cup-a-tea is the pickguard. But still with or without it I am kinda jealous.

    Shoot...12 GOTM entries...tough choices......we need a special GOTM with 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

    dude. I sorry. Chances are most likely to be from the pics and not your fault. I sure some clearer pictures will make all the difference. I hope you are not affected by my comments. I am not worthy. Trust me. My work would never be near your standards.

    which you posted that made me think. Oh what is that white line arounf the neck to body area? I assume now its just reflection of the lacquer.

    PS :(crafty), if you can get a body up and running including finishing from lumber in just a fortnight then I would be very surprised. WHy else do you think that I am so eager to get comments? ANd using a CNC? If I could have all the time I want, then I would definately make my guitar by hand. I spent 6 hrs last week polishing my neck with a 2x2 inch fret polish cloth just to meet my deadline. I couldn't even play the next day as my hands were dead! So no, maybe my work will not meet garhan's cabability, but what choice do I have? And nice of you to tell me to grow up? Ecsepically when i'm15 years of age???

    So here are the things I've come up with your comments to alter.

    1. Ditch the parker horn and copy the iceman or similar.

    2. Ditch the iceman horn and copy the parker or similar.

    3. Round The corner from the parker horn to the belly.

    4. Extend the belly outwards to compensate with the parker horn.

    5. Replace both horns and come up with something different.

    6. Convert the guitar into a singlecut with a PRS lower horn. (2nd initial idea)

    WHich guys?

    You have to get a tele heel neck and not a strat neck.

    Scroll down and you'll see the body. I have a slightly better pacifica. the 312MKII. The body is strat 'stlye' but differnt from a strat.

    compare the yamaha from the strat. But if you could get your hands on a tom anderson tele neck like in the picture, then that would be nice to show off. lol.

    I have the guitarport. I adore the noise cancelling but the sound quality no matter what is no where near 'real'. Its ok to record with a loub band. but as a solo it will be noticable. I still use the guitarport software for when I have the urge to play for 5 mins or so. Otherwise, I use my pedalbard and hook it up into the computer to use with softwared such as 'Rock amp Legends' and 'amplitube' as they sound much nicer.

    ya. but considering that I have 2 weeks exactly from today to complete every aspect of the manufacturing process including setup, then hand making is not very ideal in this situation. Stupid coursework deadline.

    are people just 100% against this, just simply guys say "Y" for you like or "N" if it is not worth building. Btw, i am still gonna build it. Just need view.

    I wouldn't beat this guy up. A waste of my crafty hands lol. I'll strap him down and let the CNC do the work ensuring that his organs are intact but skinless. THen i'll turn him into a a block of man-made AAAAA flame koa with a big food blender.

    lol. haha. Sounding very evil now. Not my intention really.
