Stick a spork in your and then look. It's much better now.Do you have any socks nearby?
I'm pretty sure putting a sock over the camera would improve the image quality. Or maybe you could jab me in the eye with a spoon - I'm pretty sure that would help.

Then what was the point of patented protection if the registrared trademark already provides the needed protection?so is the body styles that are patented or the head stock and names kinda confused about it
Most of their patents on whatever Leo invented expired long ago. The logos, names, and general shapes are still registered trademarks of FMIC and cannot be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission.

Are those Sprague Orange Drop Tone Caps that good? I got them for a strat. How do you install on the tone pots properly? Pics pliz?

How much?sold it today at the guitar store
-
Put it on ebay starting bid $7550?
-
I paid $150 for it. Then I paid over $100 for installation of the bigsby and bridge ripp off! The I paid well over $100 for licensed Bigsby, bridge and locking Grovers and locking Gibson Strap. Then I bought a drill and stone to widen the key holes and install tuners. So this altogether probably costed me maybe $400.00
This is a very beautifully cherry stained discontinued model. There is are some small scratches on the back of headstock. It must of been a factory blem that I bought on ebay, cause there is a tiny 1/2 centimeter long touched up area on the body by the neck. The guitar tech had to pull out bushings and plug with wood to install bridge. He touched it up with stain to match with rest of guitar, but a put some black rings over it. They are easy to remove if you dont like them.
This epi sg jr is way better than the epi lp jr. The reason why is more wood provides more bottom end/sustain. I used to own both and the epi lp jr. sounded like a banjo compared to this.
$250 shipped to lower 48 or if that's too pricey and you prefer to just buy locking tuners and bigsby later it would be only $150.
Bigsby told me to use only a tunamatic for this whammy, but honestly think that roller saddles would be way better for string life.
The guitar plays and sounds good.
The Kool part about of Bigsby is it's so retro, you can pull up a half a step or push down and it will stay in pitch. The locking mini Grovers 18-1 gear ratio gives you infinite tuning abillities every time you turn the tuners. No locking buttons or nuts to mess with.

Is taht bolt in or bolt on? Was shaping the head stock easy? Is it prs shape.Maybe I just got lucky with the quality of the particular kit I bought, but my favourite guitar is a saga PRS copy, with all stock hardware. (I think the pickups were potted by the guy I bought the kit off though).
I like the feel of the neck, the action is low, I like the sound and it stays in tune.
(When I say its my favourite guitar, the ones its up against arent exactly top-of-the-range boutique things, but some cost more than double what it did.)

Basswood is great for cheapo. It was the rage back in the 80's. I figured if it was Saga it would be ply or pine.It shouldn't get any worse, cause it already is. Everything is in basswood.

They yanked it because I said sorry for sh!tty cammy and keyword spamming and won't let me relist it.is there a link?

Does anyone know what Fender is doing or what their plans are for the Strat bodies and headstocks that are so widely copied around the world? Are they ever going to try to put a stop to it or are they screwed since they have let it go on for so long already? I don't personally care about Fender but I have seen soooo many variations of the Strat it just makes me curious.
I'd also like to know how it is determined when it is a copy/theft and when it is just a similar looking instrument. Is it just up to the judge to determine this or are there actual guidelines that spell this out?
Well fender makes money on liscensed bodies and necks. Obviously nothing on lets say a Jay Turser ect.. Fender shaped bodies.

Ok I just contacted him: I used 9's on it, probably just needs a neck adjustment, standard maintenance on Strats, especially with the change of seasons and all, thanksDayum! I wish the dealer would of told me what guage he used this is so painfully fustrating.
So should go for 11-49 or 12-52?
Dealer? So is this a brand new guitar or a used guitar?
If it's brand new, it's pretty unlikely they put anything that heavy on it --most likely it had 9s on it. That's what guitars seem to ship with most of the time.
Take it easy,
You know this sux. When I took them off I heard a puff sound. Then I put new strings on and they laid flat as a pancake. Then I tried to adjust stuff and still strings flatly flush on the fretboard.
Could that puff sound when I took the strings off meant the truss rod snapped and that is why the strings wont raise off the fretboard?

Hi
Joined yesterday...this is a fantastic site...so glad I came across it. I have been playing guitar for 36 years plus and have never got tired of playing. Starting on my first project soon and will post pics as soon as I can.
I have a lot of paint spraying experience and will be happy to help all I can. Project Guitar is the business.
Cheers
Ibanez 150
Ok sounds good.

Counterfiet Gibson??? i dont think they allow that on the bay.
Wrong! If it was posted up as the real deal for real money that would be fraud.
Fake guitars are sold there all the time including signature guitars.
Now a couple years ago some crook did a unethical approach of selling a bolt on Ibanez lp copy that had a guild shaped headstock. As a 59r lawsuit headstock, a exact copy of a gibson les paul. Buy now $600. I contacted him and told him to eliminate the bs hype and drop it to $200 and he might find a buyer. Well he kept the false info and sold it $400 buy now.
I fell sorry for the buyer when he showed his friends. Hey guys I got a exact copy of a Gibson Les Paul only for $400. He has maybe a $150.00 guitar with the wrong headstock, laminated ply, bolt-on neck with econo tuners.

These pics have been reduced so please do not remove them. Combined they are smaller than that one guitar pic above.
The guitar I dismantled to get the string ball end out of the block restrung fine. It is also a strat with 6 screw whammy bridge and 2 string tees on the headstock. The only differences is the saddles on the bridge and the tuners.
The one with no restringing problems has modern roto tuners with the string going thought the side of the post and a vintage 6 screw whammy.
The guitar with the restringing problems resulting with the stings lying flush against the fretboard.
Has vintage tuners where the string is placed in the center at the top of a split shaft.
The whammy bridge is also a 6 screw but the saddles are more modern
So why one restrung fine and the other aint?
-
The tremblock I took out was on a different guitar.Yeah, but after you loosen the trem claw, you'll want to undo everything else you did, like adjust the truss rod, loosen the screws holding the bridge down(there was absolutely no reason you should have done that), and adjust the saddles.
EDIT:
I just read a previous post of yours. You took out the trem block to get a string ball out? I imagine you loosened the trem claw to do this. I'm going to say the original problem was either due to a different guage of strings, overtightening of the the trem claw, or both. However, with all of the adjustments you've made, you've probably made the problem a good bit harder and more time consuming to fix. Good luck
Yeah right it was time consuming and didn't fix things, but I was getting the advice here and fender site. Also there was no way for me to know the exact guage of strings on the guitar that I bought 2 months ago online.

Guitar Books For Gba/ds Games Or $
in The Marketplace
Posted
Except for the few humugous books listed I will trade 2 books for GBA or DS game. You can ship those little buggers insured for probably $2.30.
Just take for example a hot pockets box and cut 2 pieces cd booklet size and put game in a little piece of plastic and tape cardboard together and go to po. It's that cheap and easy.
I aint picky all the games have to work don't care if the game sux or not. HUD is on my ass to clear the clutter so I'll trade big for small. I will trade with Americans or Canuks.
Due to the recent rise in postage rates. These items will be more than last year.
Books $4+$4.25 insured and shipped to the lower 48 unless otherwise as noted.
Or just $3 if pick up in Duluth.
There is some guy on ebay selling the exact same books for $14.99 + $5.99 shipping so don't let this once in a life time killer deal pass you up!
Books $3.25 + $15.35 insured and shipped to Canada unless otherwise noted.
