Well, I saved the picture and blew it up, and it look like he has some string pulling down into the body/bridge.
Themusic he plays with it is far out, but i dont think that it will be usefull for anythin else than that drone-type of music. Cant imagine playing a catchy pop-song on it...
Unless of course it's Bumblefoot. I bet he could make that thing sing!

Hey, you're an uncle now! Hooray!
So when does the baby get it's first tattoo and body piercing?
-
Sorry for the typo. I thought you had told me once you played ANTONELLI's in Gadsden, Cotton-country Alabama. It was a longshot that I was in town for a night before going to mexico on vacation. *shrugs* maybe it wasn't you. In anycase my balls are stacking up.
R-
True, though I am a stones throw away from Gadsden, I've never played there. Maybe Lovekraft? I dunno how many Bama folk there are on here. Last I knew, there were only 2 of us.
Thanks for letting me know what you meant by that. I had no clue what you were talking about.

Hey everyone, if your in the Orlando/Kissimmie area this weekend check us out at Jemfest. It's free and the Worlds Largest Guitar Based Charity Event!
*checks date of post*
I think I just missed it.
Did everyone have a good time?
-
Jehle, i'll be cleaning my room soon and i will no doubt find some balls, you want em or you had your fill?
Sure, clean your room and send me your balls. Dem are some tasty balls!
-
Glad you like the double entendre of the thread Dino.
<voice over video of starving string balls with flies swarming around them>
I've received a lot of support and now have many unwanted, unloved, wayward balls. They just needed someone to love them. Without support from viewers like you, there would be many homeless string balls, discarded and living out of urban trash cans to survive. Sadly, many of these balls are forgotten in our land fills.
<jump cut to spokesperson standing in muddy street with string balls in hand>
Won't you please help...
-
AND I no longer post incitful and riotous pictures of me burning them.
Aw, man. That's such a bummer!
-
Just a quick note to say thanks to those that have offered to send me their balls.
Stop giggling.
-
I'll start saving 'em...
You wouldn't happen to be playing anotellis this Sat. would you? I'll be home for a visit.
R-
I keep trying to understand this question. What is anotellis? I suppose given that I asked, it's a pretty good assumption that I'm not playing there.
I'd send ya mine... but I'm saving 'em to make some hemp bracelets and such with them. Besides, all I have are bass balls, and they might be too big.
Ah, but do you have a brass monkey that you could freeze available? They might do the trick.
-
Alas. It would take a metal detector and a shovel to get them from the land fill now.
-
For any of you guys that castrate your strings for locking trems, I'd like to have your balls...
I use those little ball ends as strings ferrules on my cigar box guitars. If you have a few in the trash, and if you don't mind mailing them to me, PM or email me and I'll give you the address to mail them to.
Thanks for your balls.

Yep, this is the one that I entered in the GOTM a few months back. Have a peek here
Electric Cigar Box Guitar : Telecaster Style
Why sell it? I have a million guitars and this one has been hand picked (by Juan Valdez?) to be put up for auction. I have another two that'll go up in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned...

I used to build guitars as a hobby over twenty years ago, and now, time and work allows me to restart my passion.
Mike
Hey, Mike. Glad to have you on board. Welcome to the forum.
You remind me of myself because I used to dabble in guitar building (or destruction more like) and got back into it when I found this forum. Building your own and building them the way you like them will totally change the way you look at the instrument.
-
Oh man, I wish I could come along.
BTW, tour the Heineken brewery for a few free beers.
-
I like the looks of it, but if it were me, I'd frost the underside of the pickguard. It would be semi-transparent that way and I think it would add to the look of the guitar.
Nice work!

This is a cool idea all around. Any chance that you could post a picture of your set up? I've been thinking about rewiring my pedal board for a while now to reduce its footprint. While I don't expect to mod the pedals like you have, it would be nice to see how you've reduced the mass of wires running along the floor.
To take your idea further, it would be cool to have a single cable snake run from your rig to your pedal board. That way, presuming that you play live, you could have a single cable running from the amp out to where you play on stage. At the other end, the cable snake would have all the leads and connections for your pedals.

Thanks, maybe I can chuck a few dollars to PG and figure out if they have bass diagrams.
Now, about this banana...(stares at Jehle)
-
omg...!!! see the winks and giggles "" by orsmby?(rhoads)??
When I first read that I swear it said "See the wiggles".
-
The banana says...
Or you could actually put a pencil to paper and draw the shape you want. You know, a pencil. It's a sharp stick that you can run with to put your eye out. It's also a handy thing to have to mark up paper.
-
And a very sentimental null vote for Señor Banana's six-stringer
¡Arrrrrrrriba!
I don't have a chance with all of the competition, but thanks for the few votes I have so far.

I know it's not Frontpage. Microsoft uses that as an opportunity to dump loads of MADE WITH FRONTPAGE crap in the comments. The few times I used frontpage, I had to reedit things in Notepad to strip all that out.
Now I use a Mac to do my webpages.
-
Ahem... well it's not mine... honest.
-
The web being what it is, your web weenie could be anywhere. Even in Alabama for that matter.
It's a good looking site, and if you need just a few tweaks here and there I can certainly put them into the site for you. There is only a simple lack of the FTP username and password needed for me to do anything.
If you would like to have my help contact me through email or PM to arrange things. I'm not worried about getting paid, if that helps you decide.
