nah thats ok i dont' want emg's and i dont' want to go active pickups. so can you help me with everything I need to wire this baby up?

what pickups will fit this guitar in the neck and middle? all the pickups I want have a little piece on the base plate that won't allow them to fit into this neck and middle holes of this guitar. the only ones that seem to fit are the lace sensors. I dunno if this makes sense or not. but what i'm talking about is the piece on the bottom of the pickup that is at an angle and almost forms a triangle that the wires connect to. and the holes in the guitar are just cylindrical shaped.

I am going to be rebuilding an old guitar i have and I need to know what all I will need to wire it up. I will be running a humbucker in the bridge position and two single coils in neck and middle. I am not sure if I will be using single coil sized humbuckers or true single coils in neck and middle. I don't really care to split the humbuckers into single coils because this will be my guitar for playing metal. I just need to get a check list of everything I will need to wire up my guitar. what all resistors and stuff will I need?? can you please help me with this? also a wiring scheme would be great if someone could help me with that as well. This is the guitar.

i am trying to find a bridge to fit my old squier 1 bullet. It had a 2 post style tremolo on it before. I trashed it because it was crappy. now I can't find one that will fit it. On the guitar, The measurement from center to center on the two posts is 55mm. and the wilkinson that i had planned on getting for it measured 56.8mm from center to center on the 2 post. the only other 2 post bridge i found was 51mm between the post. also i noticed that the holes in my guitar are really small compared to the post that go in with the wilkinson. the holes are 5mm and the post are 10mm. I wonder if I would have to hollow out the holes some more to make the wilkinson fit?? any suggestions on a bridge that will fit??

ok i am confused on what to get. I am thinking about the tone zone instead of the evo because a lot of poeple have suggested the tone zone. I don't know anythign about the drop sonic and I haven't talked to anyone who actually has personal experience with the drop sonic. So I am kind of afraid to get it.

i was advised against the drop sonic. this is what they told me when i was looking at the d-sonic and invader. The dropsonic and invader pups look inviting, at first, when you want to build a metal guitar. But in reality, they aren't all that great. They sound muddy, and don't work well with dropped tunings. They don't have any real tone at all - just volume and way too much bass and low mid range. I think i have decided on either the evo or the evo2. what is the main difference between these two? is it just that the original evo is a little hotter pickup?

do you play any lower tuned stuff? does the tone zone have a beefy sound? or would the evo 2 be better for that?

OH and I have also been looking at the Dimarzio X2N for the bridge. any suggestion on these pickups for what I'm looking for?

I have an old fender body and neck and I am going to rebuild it with all new electronics. It is a squier one bullet from the 80's. It has a telecaster style body with a strat headon it. The pickup set up it has is a Humbucker in the bridge position and two single coils in middle and neck (HSS) . I want this guitar to be a screamer. I want it to be my metal guitar. I will be playing alot of lower tuned stuff so I want the pickups to be good for that. What humbucker would you guys recommend for the bridge? I was looking at the Dimarzio Tone zone, or evo 2 for the bridge. A dimarzio chopper for the middle A dimarzio fast track2 for the neck. any thoughts on this? I want the harmonics to scream as well as have the fat low end on the low tuned palm mutes and stuff.. I will be playing stuff like pantera, sevendust, element eighty, and nonpoint. Any suggestions on which pickup would be the best for what i'm looking for. thanks.
