Wow, those cutaways at the bottom make it pretty big . The one at RondoMusic is open (not form fitting) and measures 49" x 15 1/2" x 4" outside... probably too small for yours. Maybe look into a case made for an Explorer bass?
Compare:
Search for "Epiphone EXBCS Explorer Bass Case" I think it should be big enough.
-
What kind of bass is it?
-
Heh, I saw that on slashdot.org yesterday . Pretty cool, drunken speaker

Yes I will be using a better camera for the new pics.
And the people rejoiced, hurrah!

Hmm... then maybe it's a coincidence that there have been a recent influx of new votes without posts as darren wilson mentioned.
-
thats always happened
Hmm... it's only happened since the update for me ... everything else, computer, browser, etc. being the same.
-
I'm starting to think that maybe the database is registering votes to polls as "new posts" even though no new messages have been posted in the thread.
So it's been happening only in the polls section for you too?
-
Heh, I must have missed that posted when I clicked on "Mark all forums as read and return to index" earlier .
-
Ugh, it just happened again for the "Poll: Girlfriend or Guitar" thread.
Edit: ...and again for the "Poll: T-Shirt Size" one.

Where in the soundcard are you plugging in to? Make sure it's into the line-in and NOT the microphone (for use with the digitech.) Have you tried adjusting the levels in the windows mixer (volume controls?) In the "Options" menu, select "Properties" and change "Adjust volume for" to "Recording."

Anybody experience any forum weirdness since the update Brian mentioned here? Since the upgrade, when I click on "View New Posts" I sometimes get posts that I've read marked as new. It seems to occurs at random times for random topics... weird.
Edit: Now that I think about it some more, maybe it's not so random... I think the posts were all in the "Put it to a vote" topic.
-
Hmm... it looks similar to the one Brian sells, first item:
http://www.universaljems.com/cart/tools.htm
the prices are close if you don't count s+h.

2. Tune-O-Matic and fretboard radius: Without getting a fancy fully adjustable TOM, the standard seems to be that they are 12" radius. If I want to have a flatter radius for my fretboard (15"), will the TOM throw off the strings too much, or is it negligible? Does it even matter at all?
if you decide to have a 15" fretboard eith a 12" bridge your action will suffer, making it quite high.
You would get a better playing guitar, and lower action with a 12" on a 12".
Mike
Or you could file down the string notches on the TOM saddles to match the 15" radius .

The old timers could probably put their tongues on a piece of wood and tell ... for others there are meters such as the ones here:
http://www.moisturemeterstore.com/wood_moisture_meters.shtml
other than that, I don't know of any "tricks of the trade" type ways that there might be (hmm... that sentence sounded weird .)

(i assume you ment beech, not beach)
(i assume you meant meant, not ment)
Yeah, I'm a jerk .

Maybe I've missed those threads... but I haven't seen ANYONE dissing Schecter in the short time that I've been a member of this forum... ??
For what it's worth, I think the 006 is a great body style, and I'm impressed by Schecter in general.

damn .. i forgot to idiot proof it
Heh, reminds me of an old adage (originally regarding fools)
Nothing is idiot-proof to a sufficiently talented idiot....not that any particular reader is an idiot .

here it is in three easy steps
1... click 'search' at the top of this page
2... type in 'relic'
3... hit search
2.1 Change "Search Where" to "All Forums"
2.2 Change "Search posts from..." to "Any date"
2.3 Change the other "Search Where" to "Search titles only"

Kiln dried isn't necessary... but it takes about a year for each inch thickness to air dry, I believe (month per inch for kiln, iirc.) You'd want 6 to 8 percent moisture content.
Welcome to PG!

$122.88/BF
I guess all the pretty girls are that expensive .
-
I'd wonder if you'd diss Schecter's if they made a headless guitar .
-
thats screwy. its not a guitar without a headstok. its like saying an amp is an amp w/o the speakerz. its not right
Heh so it's ok for you to disparage a certain type of guitar (headless) that lot's of people (me for example) enjoy but not the other way around?
alllriiiiiite...heres the thing. ive heard ppl say that schecter sucks, and all of that. WHAT R U PPL SMOKING? sheesh! schecter has been me' friend and allie through many times of trouble. and theyre NOT just for metal! dear God ppl! if anyone agrees with me, say so cuz im getting mad rite nownaw im as sane as the next psycho, im just tired of ppl dissing my gearThanks for the chuckle!
Oh, and amps usually don't have speakers (as in power amps or heads)... unless you mean combo's, I guess

There's an acid flashback just lookin' at the figuring! Your eyes just swims from staring at it . Nice!
