If you decide to get rid of it, I'll take it... I'll give it a nice Korean home .

Can I play a solo on one of the tunes?

Wow! That sounds soooo thick with the hard panning... almost too intense with headphones . I really like "npr panned.mp3"
-
Yea, it's "done"! Looks nice. I'd like to know what the pitch pine sounds like too. Sound clips, sound clips!!!
-
coz im happy with the sensitivity of my low to mid register....
I'm curious, what do you mean by sensitivity?
-
Yeah, really! I'm 5' 7" and wear 32x32 . Heh, I'm a "square" .

Litch - I don't know how you manage to keep buying supplies? It seems like every week or two, you've got a new project started. How do you do it?
Unemployment.
Unemployment allows you to "to keep buying supplies"? Where do I sign up?

It's pretty heavy... but then, I'm even older than you .

Heres some inspiration http://www.schoolmusic.co.kr/ext01_Fileboa...ovie%20Clip.WMV
If you liked that, you should check out Michael Hedges, RIP.
Edit: D'oh! Forgot to include another "King" to check out, Kaki King .

if the hb's are passive, you prob want 250K pots, if theyre active, go for 500 or higher.

Powertab is the greatest program ever created!!!
It's pretty darn good for the price!

I am still struggling with the Crazy Train solo, it was me who posted for info on it, I got the tapping down pat and thats bout it, about half a bar after the tapping then i am done, i cant find any tabs or what not to learn the rest
Do you have PowerTab? This one's pretty accurate:

I like the way the MM 4+2 looks too but I'm confused about something. You said you'd "still like to stick with the Gibson (3+3) design but don't want to crowd the tuners too much." Wouldn't a 4+2 be more crowded?
-
Yeah, but I'd figure if you wanted a black looking fretboard you'd just buy an ebony board instead of a rosewood. I just thought it was to make the Ebony a uniformed black. But I can see how someone would try to use it if the fretboard was already in place and you wanted that ebony fretboard look.
It might also be for someone who prefers the sound of a rosewood FB but the look of ebony .

how do I view the pics?
Do you see text that says "user posted image"? If so, try right-clicking on it and look for a menu item like "copy image address" or something that'd help you. It's all depends on what browser you're using. Mozilla/Firebird has a menu item that let's you view the image immediatly w/o copy+paste the address.

Whoa! That guy's got something against Opera users.
top.location.replace("http://www.opera.com/buy/?do_not_use_Google_AdSense_at_my_site") alert ("Please Register Your Opera Browser")
Or at least the ad supported version of it.

I just realized something about the hum - I didn't ground anything to the body. Since the back is plastic-graphite (?) should I just run a ground to a part of the top?
The body is fiberglass, IIRC. You should probably put shielding around the electronics (pick-ups, pots, etc.) if you haven't already. Hmm... I don't know if you'd want to put copper foil all over the inside of the body or paint it with Conductive Shielding Paint (I don't know if it'd affect the acoustic sound of it or if the paint'd melt the fiberglass' resin ). Maybe build a thin box just under the maple cap that'd surround all the electronics and shield that? All that might be overkill, huh? Those hollow bodied jazz guitars don't have that much shielding, do they?
Ooh, and yeah... add some piezos like Litchfield said!
