  1. This is the diagram I used my wiring, the new pot is a DPTP push/push. http://cdn.seymourduncan.com/pdfs/support/schematics/2ts_2v_2t_phsp.pdf Are you saying I would need to make both volumes universal, and one goes to the varitone with vintage wiring, the other with modern wiring, and use the tone DPDT as the selector? I suppose it wouldn't matter so much that the phase reversal and series/parrallel DPDT switches are dedicated, because I can do whatever's needed with the triple shots (to a degree) If so that makes sense, thanks!
  2. I recently finished wiring my LP with the 'Jimmy Page' wiring schematic, using Seymour Duncan triple shot pickup surrounds, and two push/push (vol) pots. That ws my first ever stab at wiring, and whilst being luckily successful, I was only really painting by numbers! I decided to order a varitone and a new (tone) pot, and embark on my second foray, but the project I have in mind has slightly stumped me. I want to have the push pot select between modern and vintage wiring, with both being able to use the varitone. I'm thinking both volumes connect to the varitone, and going the other way to both sets of lugs on the pot, (with either a soldered & split wire or two wires soldered to the vt) I know how to do vin/mod soldering onto regular pots, but where to start with the lugs on a push pot? In my head things whirr and tell me that this should be possible, but I'm reticent to start soldering to the extra lugs on the pot, and I've not got the inductor yet, although I've read on some sites that inductors aren't all they're made out to be... Can anyone help? Is there a wiring schematic which I could mangle?!
