Hi guys,
First time post, first time visit, really. As the title says, I've got an old Ibanez RG170 that I' giving a facelift. I got this guitar when I was 16 in late 2000, early 2001. So far, it's been stripped down from black, I've filled the middle and neck pickup slots in with wood, sanded and made the body smooth (always wanted a guitar with just the bridge pickup). I've got an EMG-81 I plan on tossing in there as well after the guitar is painted.
My question is, since I started this project in 2005, I've obviously misplaced, or outright lost a lot of the hardware that came with the guitar. I know they don't make these RG's anymore, so my question is this:
I need new tunning pegs, bridge and bolts for the neck - where is the best place to look for these pieces that will fit on my model of guitar? It's been so long since I've been into guitars seriously, I've lost track and haven't kept up with the times.
Any help would be appreciated. I'd love to get this guitar up and running again.
