I doubt you can get silver grout but Im sure white would look alot better than the grey you have. And Im positive you can get that I have it in my bathroom!

Ok change of plan ... Just spent well over 2 hours removing all the piece's,ANd laying them along the outlines first, then filling in the middle,Once i have grey grout (i dunno if ya can get silver?) it'll look better i hope

The only thing I can think of to get rid of the exposed edges would be to bind the body, thus covering em up.
This is ME were talking about,i'd just bugger binding/purfling completely
I'm thinking of Grout of some description just to keep it smoother round the edge's and the top,to get rid of any sharp extrusions

yeah, can you fire off some pics to khracing@yahoo.co.uk for the bodies ... i'll gladly cover the shipping from the US - UK

Disco Jem!!!! Sorta Paul Stanley-esque. Have you thought about using the Plastic Mirror material instead of real glass? Is basically lexan with a mirror back. A whole lot easier to cut than glass
plastic mirrors ... now you tell me I started it in the knowledge i may come up against a few barriers,if it does'nt work out i'll have to lift the glass and lay plastic instead
Rob

thats handy to have,as i may have another to do after, the mirror i have about 75% laid, they came off xmas decorations, which is why i bought them
I have a very fine metal file which seems to work ok,and i have'nt had a single splinter yet ... keep peepers open for the finished jobby :-)

If you're serious, nail it and just have him send it to one of us here in the states and have us ship it to you.
I'd do it fer ya. I'm sure others would too.
PS, I've shipped Twin Reverbs and heavier amps around the country, everything makes it A-OK, at least from this port.
Cheers dude,I've got currently 4 US,1 Brazilian and 2 Canadian address's ... I shall go in late,if it's not at silly money

Those are some weird contours on the top. It's starting to look more like an H.R. Geiger top than a classic carved top.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
Nowt wrong with giger at all

I voted Player,As i have made some cash from re-fin's and routing work
I dunno,i've never actually built a neck from scratch, but my first will be an 8 string
But by heck i've learnt loads along the way, from Universal,to project geetarrrr, obviously before Project was around,Universal was invaluble to my Jem modifications
Thanks to you all,But more over,Many thanks to Brian, for the dedication to start Project ... And as alway,to the people who help me out from time to time
Merry xmas guys
