  1. I'd like to know the same thing as Sully, does anyone make it in a different scale?
  2. Hi All, I got a dumb question and it's a little hard for me to explain so please bare with me. How do you determine the angle of a tune-o-matic bridge when mounting it on a body. Now let me explain what I mean by angle, if you look at a Les Paul you will see that the bridge is not parealle with the tailpiece. This is what I need to figure out. I tried to draw it below but hopefully you get the idea -------------- [ o o o o o o] [Humbucker] --------------- O ____----- O = What determines this angle? ___________ O tailpiece O ___________
  3. Well I'd like to get the correct neck for this body. So far I think I need the later pointy style neck that say's Kramer with the letters getting smaller and american in script. Worse case senario I will make it into a real player with a warmoth neck and speedloader but I hate to do that to such a cool looking guitar. The finish is a swirl paint lik the old Jems
  4. Yeah i know it won't be original and i was thinking of just going to warmoth and buying a new neck, dropping in some SD's and a lopr Floyd but when I was 17 many years ago (12 to be exact) i had an original voyager that sounded great and played like butter. I guess I'm trying to recapture a long last day in my life.
  5. Hi All, i just got my hands on a 80's Kramer voyager body. I want to restore this guitar back to original condition but I'm having a hard time finding info on what this guitar originally came with. I need to know what pickups, neck and tremolo it had, this is the later style body with the 3 humbuckers and pointed edges. thanks, Sam
  6. Prices I got from Floyd Rose but still no delivery date US retail prices will be approximately as follows: Chrome $195.95 Black $205.95 Gold $215.95
  7. Hi Brian, Thanks for the info, do you think I can still run all four pots with this setup? Sam
  8. yep thats mine, it's sitting home wired up ready to go minus a neck and tremolo
  9. it's a bolt on and i was thinking I could do that with another neck, yeah it's a little distrubing but I like it hahaha
  10. It's already routed for a Floyd Rose and the guitar is hand carved this is it http://www.carverdoug.com/guitars/sam_bone.htm
  11. Hi All, Has anyone tried to replace their 3-way toggle in a Les Paul for a 5-way rota ry? If so how did you do it and how was it wired? Thanks, Sam
  12. Hey all, So now my aluminum Warlock is almost done I need to have it plated. I can go for chrome which is easy and right down the road from me but I want something different, any ideas and who might have the ability to do it? Sam
  13. I've used the Gotohs and they work pretty well but sometimes you need to muslce the locking mechanisim to get thwe string free.
  14. Floyd Rose still doesn't have an answer for me when it will be released. But here's what I found out about tuning, the only adjustment you have is fine tuning and this is done by the fine tuners at the rear of the tremolo. No more cutting ball ends off or fishing the strings through the locking block. And my custom guitar doesn't have a head stock purposely to use the speadloader with it, so now I have a pretty piece of wood
  15. True, It's just killing me that I can't finish my custome guitar without that tremolo. Oh well what can you do.
  16. Hi all, Anyone have any idea where I can get my hands on a new speedloader? No one in my area (NJ) has any clue about it and all I ever get from Floyd Rose is, "it'll be out next month" They've been saying that for onths. But now I see all these shops over in the UK advertisizng the new unit on BC Rich's and they are in stock. So is the Garden State the last to know or just the country. Any help would be greatly appericated. Thanks, Sam
