  2. This is my first true scratch build. An SG junior with a P90 pickup and wraparound bridge. One tone & one volume knob.
  3. I would like to thank everyone for their helpful suggestions on how to remedy my 14" harbor freight bandsaw. I replaced rubber belts with new link belts & changed my blade to a 1/2" flexback blade with 3TPI &put it on the second slowest speed. I was able to cut through a piece of 8/4 red oak with No Problem! Thank you ! Thank you! Thank you! Much appreciated!!!!!
  4. And here is my home made pedal board. I wood burned everything on it. Of course I have more TC electronic pedals now.

  6. And this was my last kit build SG I used a wood stain called briar smoke and ebony wood stain then some silver rub that I saw Dan from guns and guitars use on one of his builds. Then I finished it with you guessed it tru oil.

  8. On this kit build I tried clothing dye and got a great burst!
  9. I used 3 different wood stsins on this cheap strat kit and finished it with tru oil, Can you tell I like tru oil. Lol... I dropped a loaded pickguard in it with better pickups.plays great!
  10. This one was an idea that I had to do a Phoenix on a mockingbird kit. I wood burned the the outline of the Phoenix & hand painted it with 6 paint markers. Blending and painting & finished with tru oil.
  11. This was my first kit build I designed & wood burned all the artwork on it. Even all the brown is burned Then finished with tru oil.

  13. This build was for my friend Who is the bass player in my band Rebel Cowboys.
  14. Second guitar kit build This one I wood burned the outline of the Phoenix and used paint markers to paint and blend the colors.
  15. It was a lot of work and took a lot of planning to do all of it. Even the dark brown is all wood burned.
  16. This was my very first guitar kit build. I wood burned all the artwork on it.
  17. I bought a linkbelt to replace my rubber belts. I hope that helps and I will try a slower setting for more torque.
  18. Thank you. That guitar played fine last night I picked it up today when my band came to rehearse and the neck was separating from the body. I was so disappointed.
  19. I made the body from walnut and the pickguard. I bought the neck on eBay..
  20. On ebay.I just finished this guitar. This is a guitar that I have wanted to build for 2 &1/2 years. Made the body & bought the neck I had to cut the body out with my jigsaw. But when I tried to cut a Tele body out red oak it burned up my jigsaw.
  21. I think it might be the belts slipping because I cut a pickguard on it last night and it cut fine. But when I try thicker stock it stops the blade and I turn it off then turn it back on and the motor runs but the blade doesn't turn. I half to use a scrap board to .make the blade move then it will turn and get up to speed. When I go to cut the thick boards again it stops the blade again.
