I was dimensioning up some fret blanks and ended up with a slight bow to a really cool figured piece of quartersawn white oak. Can anyone think of any potential problems or will the neck ultimately keep it flat?

I'm going to attempt my first build. I have always wood worked but just got into guitar making/ playing. I have some 8/4 mahogany laying around but not enough. Is it frowned upon to laminate 4/4 boards together to get what I need ? And also suggestions on a site to gethardware and components?
