I made this guitar about 6+ years or so ago, the body is so small because that was the size of the piece of wood that my Grandpa gave me I had practical no budget for it at the time and bought the cheapest hardware I could find, but now I want to "restore" it and so I am buying some decent hardware for it, repainting it, and trying to get it to play as good as reasonably possible. As you can see from the picture, I only have one very cheap pickup in there.. what would you all recommend as far as type, amount, and placement of new pickups? Obviously I'm not expecting to be getting amazing sound from it and there isn't much space for pickups between the end of the fretboard and bridge, but I figured I might as well try to get it sounding as decent as possible after putting all of that work into it!
