  1. Theyre supposed to be all single coils and the point with all this was to not have a switch, but insteaad have the ability to lower the volume (to zero) if you dont want the pickup to recieve signals.

  2. Hi,

    Ill start with the picture

    helpplz.jpg

    So what I'm wondering is can you make one pickup have it's own volume control? So if you want, you can use all of them but just lower the volume for like the bridge one and so on...

    The gray ring is a tone control.

    Would it work?

    If yes, can you show me?

  3. When you have F holes on your guitar ( both acoustic and electric), do you usually put a piece so you cant see all the way in. Like if youre making a resonator guitar (wooden) with f holes, should you put a piece of wood under the hole so you cant see the resonator cone?

  4. verhoevenc;

    Yeah, I probably should. But hey, I'm learning now dude. And this was just supposed to be a school project.

    Atleast tell me this;

    Is it the length between the bridge and nut or from the nut to the 12th fret?

  5. I'm a newbie on building guitars etc. Anyway... I've seen many people ask about what scale length the should use. Like on an Ukulele, someone answered 17 inches.

    From where do you meassure this?

    And, is it important to have it exactly? (If yes, then Why?)

  6. I was thinking of making an "electric Resonator Guitar" but without the electric. A solidbody resonator guitar, do you guys think it would work or will the sound be bad? Anyways I would go with Cone then Biscuit then Overplate.

    Can you explain what the "spider" is?

    EDIT

    Actually it's gonna be a Resonator Solidbody Ukulele. Tell me if its a good or bad idea.
