  1. They are inspired by the 1956 tweed Fender Princeton (model 5E2). The are a low-power, single-ended output, class A tube guitar amplifier built especially for the blues, blues rock, and classic rock. It is ideal both for practice and recording.

  2. what method of shipping do you use for worldwide orders? I live in Dubai/UAE and have received shipments from stewmac through USPS and they were quite alright (a bit expensive at times and slow) but it was kinda reasonable (as opposed to shipping heavy stuff throguh DHL and UPS which will cost a fortune)

Mighty Might stuff is what you get from stewmac right? i'm asking coz i wanted to have a full paddle standard neck but they only had the 6-inline half paddle one... and it was already for $120 so that'd total up to a fortune until it gets here...

also, do you get your batches regularly? i'm mainly interested in necks.

    Sami.

I use USPS Priority International to ship overseas. I do not stock paddle head stocks, but I can add it to my next order. I can order you an Allparts full paddle at a discount also. PM me if interested.

  3. And the bodies, are they finished, or? What material are the bass bodies?

    Thanks :D

The bodies are all swamp ash and have been sanded and sealed. They still require grain filled and finished. I can get finished bodies and will have a few in stock soon, but they cost a little more.

  6. 300 may seem tight, but I am not in need of buying body or neck wood, I have a limited supply of free stuff. Also it is very light on the electronics only one pickup. So far without a trem bridge I am at 205 dollars american (budgeted not added up) with 40 dollars for just small odds and ends so I think I could pull off the tight budget. I am looking at a good nut and good tuners, so will I be ok with a standard strat trem, its simplicity is a large draw. Any thoughts on a wilkinson trem? Are bigsby trems as much of a night mare as they are said to be?

Wilkinson makes a nice vintage trem with a steel block that is under 50.00.

  7. I have a question about p-90s, so I thought to pick this topic back up. I'm thinking of getting a tonerider p-90, mostly because of the positive reactions and the low price. Has any of youguys got experience with either the H-90 or the rebel (humbucker sized) pickups of tonerider?

What I really want to know though, what's the difference in sound between the two?

    Cheers

PS I asked in another topic, but they told me to ask you.

The big difference is the Rebel and the Hybrid are 2 different sizes. The Rebel is a retro fit to replace a humbucker and the Hybrid is not. The Hybrid uses a combination of Alnico II and V magnets. Alnico II is a warm sounding magnet that produces a smooth midrange and good sustain. Alnico V is stronger and produces a glassy high end with good bass response. Put these 2 magnets together and you get one of the best sounding P-90's out there. Now the Rebel just has the Alnico II magnets. Tonally the Rebel is somewhere between a P-90 and a bucker with a strong tight bass and crisp highs.

  8. I will be painting my Guitar and was wondering is this it: I need Grain Filler, one can, do I need Sand Filler? Re Ranch Paints, 2 cans, then 2 cans of clear coat. What type of clear coat should I get, this it other than sand paper, etc?

    You will need:

    1 Can of grain filler

1 Can of Sand and Sealer

2 Cans of Paint (One will do it, but buy 2 for errors)

2 Cans of Clear ( I prefer nitrocellulose gloss)

You might want to buy a sand paper kit from Reranch also.

Follow Reranch 101 and let the clear dry for at least 30 days! This allows the solvents to gas off properly.

Very Important: Join the Reranch Forum and ask lots of questions and post progress pictures. We love pictures!
