Thanks for the replies. I should have been more specific with my question. I'm making a one piece neck with truss rod adjustment at the heel. The truss rod with anchor attached has to be inserted through the hole in the headstock.

I'm building a one piece maple vintage Fender style neck following the example in the Melvyn Hiscock book. I've been unable to find a source for the truss rod anchor he shows on page 118. Anyone able to help with this matter?
