Hi to all

I have a Tokai guitar like this one. The guitar has a ebony stained rosewood board. I want to change the rosewood board out for an ebony one

How hard would it be to replace the board with ebony, put new frets, bind the board and place some dot or small cross inlays on it? Can I DIY this? How much am I looking at for parts and tools?

If this is not a DIY project how much would the average costs be to take it to a pro?

I want to do a guitar project for a new finish

A few questions

1> I want to refinish this Tokai guitar (1st pic) in this Vinatge Sunburst Color (2nd Pic). The Tokai has a veneer top. Is this possiable? Also the there is binding everywhere on the guitar. Will the binding have to be redone as well?

2> If this is posssiable what are the avg costs in the US between taking it to a refinish pro and doing it myself? In other words how much will this costs me?

3> How hard is it to do a vinatge sunbust for a 1st time project? I have some exp. from painting airplane models to draw from
