    The neck for the 6 string lefty has been sorted out profiled the fingerboard and got it fretted.

    When someone else is paying you to build them what they want I do my absolute best to give them what they want. The design's I don't change to any great extent and my own pickups and pre-amp are my preferred option in that department but the woods are entirely up to the customer unless it just won't work. I just love black limba it is great to work with sounds great and looks brilliant the only downside is that it is getting difficult to get the good stuff with good colour and grain. I have a few pieces which are quite heavy so I intend to make a chambered Limba bass no top or back. The limba I have for this is very nice indeed so I am sure you will approve when I get round to it. Alan

    I have been working on this bass when I get time. Basically trying to build a dark/light wood bass. Spec Body is Flame Sycamore with a Wenge top. Neck 7 piece Wenge/Sycamore Mac Ebony board bound with Acrylic impregnated Birdseye Maple.Wenge headplate Sycamore Backplate and Ebony/Sycamore Heel. ACG pickups possibly my new MM style pickup and a Jazz type. Satin chrome hardware. ACG filter pre-amp. ACG Gallery

    Hi Just got this bass about ready to go. Body in Black Limba with a Flamed Bibinga top and black veneer accent line. Neck 7 piece Bibinga/maple with Bibinga headplate back plate and heel all with accent lines. Hardware in black. ACG pre-amp. 2 ACG custom humbuckers. Hipshot Type A bridge. Hipshot Ultralites. Schaller Straplocks and a Neutrik locking jack. Finish 60% sheen lacquer on the body and 20% sheen on the neck for a satin feel. ACG Gallery

    Tempting but maybe not I am sure I will find some use for it. Just about ready to get underway with this bass for AD Body core White Limba top and back Flame Redwood black veneer accent line. Neck Ebony. Fingerboard Acrylic Impregnated Spalted/Flame Maple. Ramp to be made from bookmatched Redwood Black Hardware. ABM headless unit. ACG Fatbas pickups and ACG pre-amp.

    The spec on this one. Body is Swamp Ash with a Sappy Redwood top and a Quilt Maple back both with a black accent line. Neck 7 piece Bibinga/Flamed Sycamore with a Redwood headplate and a Quilt Maple back plate and Quilt maple/Ebony heel all with accent veneers. Fingerboard acrylic impregnated Birdseye Maple from Larry at Gallery Hardwoods Hardware all in black. Hipshot Type A bridge. Hipshot Ultralites. 2 ACG Fatbas custom wound humbuckers with coil switching on mini-switches series/single/parrallel ACG custom pre-amp. Finish 60% sheen lacquer on the body and headstock. 20% sheen on the neck for a satin feel. ACG Gallery

    As far as I know he use's Illustrator to make up a vector drawing them photoshop to add the woods. Alan
